The technition was great, very polite and got right to the job and had the door completely repairded and working withing a very short period of time. 5/27/2015

However: I think I was over charged for the service. 1. service call $38.00 2. Tune up $49.50 3. Torsion springs $170.00 (We both know these cost you about $10.00 a piece. I thought this was ridiculously high 4. Installation $125.00 He was in and out in under 30 minutes. 5. So, to charge for the service call, tune up and then hit us for the springs and installation is way out of line. 6. When I have the AC, Electrical or plumber out they all comp the service call once you have committed for the repairs or apply the service call to the repairs. 7. I would like to refer your company and especially the young man, but; I think your charges are way out of line. So, based on your cost I would reluctantly refer you even though your service is great! more

This company wasted my time and money. Do Not Call 4/13/2015

When I placed my service call I know what was wrong. I needed two new logic boards. I informed the service department of the model number, the problem and the solution. But when the repair person arrived he has no thing to fix my doors. He didn't even have the model number. To make matters worst, he came with his school age child. more

Installation of a LiftMaster Premium door opener and keypad 4/10/2015

The technician arrived on time and introduced his self and shame on me I don't recall his name. He was a very professional, courteous, and personable individual. One of the lenses on the unit was damaged out of the box . He returned to the shop and retrieved another les and made it right . It was as if he was installing the unit like it was his house . Very hard to find that these days and greatly appreciated . more

Josh did s good job. 3/24/2015

I called to ask about a 20% off coupon on parts. It was from another company here on White Settlement Rd. (Overhead Garage Door), much closer to where we live. I've used y'all several times. We could have saved 20% of $125 for the spring we purchased. Nobody called back. We are seniors and retired military and 20% off of a service call is not much. I may try the Overhead folks next time. more

My technician "Joey" was the absolute best!!! He was very respectful, knowledgable and patient!. He explained every to me and even made recommendations for was to seal my garage door. He was so nice I'd like to have him every time I need a repair. Blessings!! more

Very pleased 3/3/2015

The serviceman was very courteous. I related brief history of problem, and what I had done previously to correct other problems. He pulled the door up and down, manually, a few times. As soon as he saw what was happening, he told me what he was going to do to correct the problem. I agreed, and he went right to work. In a very short time, he had the door working properly and quietly. more

Excellent Service 2/27/2015

This is the second time I've used O'Brien for a garage door repair. Each time, I was well informed of the service time and they were prompt and kept the appointment. Service was quick and without problems. This time, I was iced in on Tuesday and called thinking they would schedule my service for some time over the next few days. They scheduled an appointment for the same day and my service was completed by 2:00! I don't know if this is their normal turn around time but I appreciated it very much. The service tech was extremely personable and completed the job quickly despite having to work in the freezing cold. No negatives to report at all. more

I had put off getting my garage door fixed because of a prior bad experience with a company I hired through Groupon. I was drawn to O'Brien Garage Doors when I saw the ad in the money mailer and it showed that is was family owned since 1985 (I think!). Everything went wonderfully! more

Great Job 2/4/2015

My garage door spring broke when the door was down and couldn't get vehicles out. I called O'Brien at 1pm. Josh was at the house by 3pm and given traffic is pretty fast. He had all the tools, parts and began working to fix the problem immediately. Josh did a great job and I'm very pleased with the results. more
