Me and my 9 yr old have enjoyed this pizza, the service and the atmosphere of the place.

Worst

tried the restaurant, but quickly realized it is not the same company that started NYPD Pizza's. Food poor, service poor. No where near the quality i am used to from my NYPD Pizza...

The very best pizza in Phoenix 1/9/2003

The food is wonderful, especially the calzones which are delightful. They have a nice variety of pizza's from the standard pepperoni to less typical veg pizza's. Take out orders are always easier because at lunch time it's difficult to find a place to sit in the small restaurant. 8 out of 10 *'s, only due to the small size and also the cashiers have always been a little off, or odd, or something. I have been to NYPD pizza on several occassions and each and every time have been fully satisfied. The food is delicious. I had cheese pizza with ricota cheese. YUM!!! It's in between a thin and thick crust and always fresh. Also the appetizer that i've had was great! It was a garlic bread knot with cheese melted on top with a side of marinara sauce to dip it in. SO SO good! I ALWAYS tell people to eat there. By far it is the best pizza i've had since i've moved to AZ over a year ago. Real NY pizza is here. Forget about all those pretend NY pizza places in AZ. As close to NYC pizza without being in the city. they have a great cannoli too. Pros: inexpensive, real, pizza Cons: none, none, none more

Not too shabby for a west coast pizzeria 10/24/2002

While the prices are higher than your typical back-east pizzeria, it's well worth it if you're looking for a quality pizza in the city of Phoenix. The atmosphere is relaxed and the pizza tastes great. The focus is good pizza; not ""fancy"" pizza. The other food is great, too. NYPD has done, what other pizzaria's west of the Mississippi have failed to do. MAKE REAL NY PIZZA! The sauce, cheese, toppings galore... perfection, all the way down to the crust. NYPD is the bomb. There pizza, service, and environment are the best of its kind. The servers could not be more fun and energetic and the food is awesome. You might have to wait around 20 minutes for the food, but the wait is well worth it. Pros: inexpensive, energetic, family-oriented Cons: wait time, none, none more

I am from Boston, where we have The North End---aka ""little Italy."" This place has the best pizza I have had in this state! I absolutely love it! The closest thing to the pizza we would get in the North End of Boston! Pros: inexpensive, good selection Cons: not enough NYPD's!! more
