Me and my 9 yr old have enjoyed this pizza, the service and the atmosphere of the place.

Worst

tried the restaurant, but quickly realized it is not the same company that started NYPD Pizza's. Food poor, service poor. No where near the quality i am used to from my NYPD Pizza...

NY Pizza 6/3/2005

For the first time since I've moved from New York City, I have found pizza that is truly like the pizza in NY. I lived in northern California for 18 years and couldn't find it there, but lo and behold, I came to Arizona and New York is right in my back yard. Highly recommended. more

We recently moved to Arizona and NYPD provided a delicious taste of home. The pizza and calzone are the best we've had since growing up in Brooklyn. Pros: Great food, great service, great value Cons: they need more room more

great pie, friendly staff & single slices! 6/3/2005

One of the very best in the Phoenix area. Just like the pizza you'll find in NY city, down to the crust and sauce. The waitstaff was friendly and you can even get just a slice or two to go. The interior was reminescent of small Italian eateries in NY. You can't go wrong. more

I'm from New York, and this is probably the closest you'll get to genuine ""Big Apple"" pizza here in the valley. Highly recommended. Pros: Great food, Fast service, Friendly people more

NYPD IS THE BEST 6/2/2005

I have always stuck to pizza chaines and decided to try NYPD Pizza I am vey glad that I did. This has to be the best Pizza that I have had. Not only is the Pizza wonderfull, I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees. They are all very kind and always great with my kids. I tell everybody about this pizza and was so happy when they opened a location in Surprise. Pros: Excellent, Good Parking, Deals more

I left Long Island in June 2004. I left knowing the one thing I would miss would be the quality and choices of good food. Italian, Chinese, American. You name it, NY has it and it's the best. My family and I tried two dozen diferent pizza places. One or two OK places of the bunch, however NYPD was the closest thing we found to a real NY pie. I am from Philadelphia originally and all I can say is that my family and I really miss the food that you can get on the East coast! But eating at NYPD is the best! It's like being home again! From the pies to the desserts...everything is wonderful! Cons: no delivery! more

Best New York Pizza/Calzone in the West 6/2/2005

If you are looking for true New York Pizza (Buffalo doesn't count) this is the place to go. It was like getting a Pizza from home again. I would recommend this place to any New Yorker's who miss that Authentic New York taste!!!!!! more

You can Take the Pizza Out of the City But... 6/2/2005

This is the best NYC pizza we've found in the entire Phoenix Valley. We also drive in from Gold Canyon to indulge our city fantasies when we can't afford a plane ticket. My favorite is the White Ricotta & Spinach Pie, but I still steal slices of regular pies from my husband. Please open a restaurant in the east valley! more

Best this side of the Hudson 6/7/2004

As an east coast pizza freak having lived all over the country, NYPD is the only place we'll drive from Gold Canyon to get the best pizza this side of the Hudson. Even our Brit and Canadian neighbours demand it as their first stop after leaving Sky Harbour . Ya just can't beat it! Pros: Good Value, Parking is OK, Great service more

This is very good food! my uncle is one of the owning partners. I tried it and its terrific pizza. They also have a good rest of the menu. Try the dessert with the fried dough covered in ice cream. Its called a zeppoli. Delicious Pros: tasty, inexpensive more

without a question the absolute best Pizza in town. The care and time that has gone into this resturant comes through in the food. Totally authentic and so much more than just pizza. Everything is great from thier salads to thier pastas. Whenever I am in the Valley I always make it a point to stop in! Pros: fun atmosphere, good parking, friendly service more

The sauce was awesome, however the pizza crust was a little doughy. I loved the music and our waitress(I forgot her name) was very helpful, friendly and competent. Pros: excellent sauce, cool ambience, good service Cons: crisp the pizaa dough more

I've eaten pizza all my life. NYPD makes the best pizza I have ever eaten. I try to make to this place at least once a week. The friendly servers and great decoration make the experience complete. more
