Nuno's Pavilion

This restaurant was once known for good food, and the nice party hall that they have. We were just there for a First Communion Party. The food was awful. Not to mention the service recieved was horrendous. I would think twice about ever going back. Especially the restaurant area. It was a Saturday night and it was empty. This is not a place I ever recomend. more

Nuno's food is one of the best places to eat in Linden. Applebee's and all those other places can not compare to Nuno's fresh food. Bad things happen all over the world, does that stop us from leaving the house!?! Anyone that has been in Nuno's lovely reception halls knows that it is a great place to plan something special. I would also like to state that the bar and restaurant is in two different parts of the building so if you want to sit with your family in the restaurant you can also do so without the bar scene. more

Man charged in gunfight at Linden bar A Linden man who was shot during a gunfight last weekend at a city bar has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the shooting, in which one person was killed, authorities said today. Scott Munroe, 33, is accused of shooting one of the three other survivors in the Sept. 16 melee at Nuno’s Pavilion, a bar and popular banquet hall on Roselle Avenue, Assistant Union County Prosecutor David Hancock said. Munroe, who is also charged with weapons possession, was shot in the chest. He remains under police guard, at University Hospital in Newark Hancock said. His bail was set at $350,000. The 2:30 a.m. brawl started as a fistfight between several patrons inside the crowded bar, police said. Then gunfire erupted, sending scores of patrons fleeing into the street, police said. Naji Hall, a 23-year-old Linden man, was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene. No one has been charged with Hall’s death. In addition to Munroe, the survivors included Hall’s 19-year-old brother, Brian Wyatt, who was shot in the shoulder. Police have withheld the names of two other injured Linden men, ages 24 and 27, who were shot in their legs. more

I used to go to nunos at leat 3 times a month for a drink and a bite to eat, the food is great i give them that but its a dangerous place to be on friday and saturday night(dinner time), nunos bar/reataraunt area fills up with gansta,thugs,homies(you get the picture) and these people are a very hostile and annoying to the familly oriented customers ... a couple of months back there was a shooting inside the bar/restaraunt area, someone died right on the floor of the bar, if you dont belive me just check the local news papers online(star ledger)... This place is unsafe .... Me personally ill never step foot in that place ever again, it gives me the creeps to know someone was murderd at the bar. more

Great Portuguese food. Also has a reception hall to cater weddings and special events. I had my wedding reception there and the food was delicious. People are still talking about it today. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. more
