Nustyle was established in 1876 in Kansas City, Missouri as a rug frame and hand quilting frame shop. It was the only company to manufacture a swing type frame which was used with an industrial machine head in a stand. This type of quilting system was patented several times as the machines were improved. In 1973, Lee&Ruth Williams purchased the business. In 1975 a table model quilter was manufactured using Singer, Brother, and Juki machines. In 1984 a Long Arm Machine was offered to enable the quilters to do outline and custom quilting and making it possible to do a larger design.
Lora Dale was employed in 1982, managing and operating the business. October 2000 she purchased the business. Being a family operated business, we understand the importance of honesty and trust. We will continue to provide the best products possible, technical support, and meet the needs of the quilters and build relationships that we know are important to our customers.
