Located in Pensacola, Fla., Northwest Florida Area Agency on Aging is a private, nonprofit corporation that is funded under the federal Older Americans Act through the Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA). Established in 1979, the agency serves senior citizens of the age of 60 and above in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Walton and Okaloosa counties in Florida. It provides screening, long-term health care and social services.
