The credit union's mission includes educating people about the dangers of payday loans and other ""services"" guaranteed to drain your wallet of hard-earned cash. They provide free tax preparation for lower-income folks and sponsor free financial literacy classes teaching basics like budgeting to the ins and outs of home/condo ownership for 1st-time buyers. Best of all, they really have a ""community"" feel. Going in to take care of my financial business feels like visiting friends. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful!
