Good: This shop has created all 17 bogus reviews on thie internet, they are dishonest, and thieves, quote you and bait and swith you when you come in to get your car, STAY AWAY you have been warned by somone who's been burned by them already!. Bad: dishonesty, shady business tactics, inflated prices, buys his stuff online from ebay to mark up and sell locally. Improvements: him go out of business. more

took my vehicle in for the first time about a year ago when i first moved to modesto. mark was very friendly and gave a competetive quote for the work I needed done. I've been back several times since, even had a couple small things done for free! Check them out. Alex? more

honest shop 6/8/2010

northern tire and wheel is a honest shop, took my car to the dealer, they quoted me some really high estimates for my front and rear brakes, took my car out and consulted with a friend, she told me to give you a try, i brought the car in you gave me a free loaner, when you called back you said only the front brakes need attention right now, the back can wait untill the next oil change, and the estimate was fantastic. Northern Tire and wheel is the best Automotive shop I have ever worked with. The sales man was friendly and lsitened to what I was looking for. He was so concious of my budget that he got me the best price for my tires and brakes imagineable. They did not try and pressure me, nor did the treat me as any less because I am female like most auto shops do. I was so impressed with the level of service there. They also got my car finished well under thier prospective wait time. WOW> larry more

We usually buy our tires at costco or walmart. But once my friend told me about Northern tire and wheel and I decided to give it a try. They are really friendly and professional. They will give you good suggestion and give you what you need and won't try to ask you pay more. Their service is also fast and professional. It is a good place to buy your tires. derick more

I did my research and ended up going here simply based upon the price... AND I was blown away by the service. Will definitely be coming back. Many of the other tire dealers around modesto are sleaze ball salesmen...? greg more

yesterday was the first time i have ever been in northern tire and wheel. i was recommeded there by my father in law. THIS TIME HE WAS RIGHT.. these guys are great they did my brake and a front end alignment on my truck while i ate lunch. no down time at all. thanks again northern tire and wheel...-Bill more

I highly recommend northern tire and wheel.. It's a family run business and everyone there was friendly and made me feel welcome, even though it was my first time using them. The price was the best I could find and there were no hidden charges. They replaced the tires in a reasonable amount of time. I have recommended them to several of my friends! -John more

As a woman, I have been treated poorly by male mechanics in the past and I assume it's because they think I know nothing about cars which in fact I do. The guys at northern tire and wheel treated me with respect, explained the services I had done and were fair and honest. They treated me like any other customer and I appreciated that very much. more
