North Star Montessori is the coming together of two experienced AMS Certified Montessori teachers with a love of children. Jane & Maureen taught together many years ago & found that their teaching styles & beliefs were very strongly aligned. Destiny brought their paths together again & their vision of creating a family oriented, Montessori school that was small & intimate, while adhering to the Montessori philosophy, came true with the creation of North Star Montessori. Their mission is to create a peaceful & joyful learning atmosphere where they can foster the growth & development of the whole child. The teachers are AMS Certified & members of the National Association of the Education of Young Children. We also offer Art, Spanish, Yoga, and Sign Language & Music.
