I am perplexed by some of the bad reviews on here. Jack and Saeed are simply good, honest businessmen who believe in high quality and excellent service. I have been going to them for around 6-7 years. I the beginning I did ""double-check"" costs by comparing with other mechanics, and their was always the most reasonable, and eventually I trusted them completely. They helped our family nurse along two different aging cars, and gave advice when we were ready to buy a new (used) car. I have gotten both good and bad news from them, but always felt like I had options and never felt like anything was more expensive than seemed reasonable based on my experiences with previous cars and mechanics. They explained the repairs to me in a way that was clear without being condescending, so I knew what I was paying for. For those of us on a tight budget, they give good advice on which repairs are urgent and which can wait. If you are looking for a good honest mechanic, go to them! more

DONT EVER GO THERE 5/22/2012

DONT EVER GO THERE, they dont know nothing about cars, i know cars but dont have tools to fix or lift, so i went there and they only trying to over charge ppl that look like they dont understand cars, please dont go there and u save your car and $, and i sow him try to steal my iphone , but he sow me at the last moment, do yourself a fever dont go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they not pro' at all. more

Regular overhaul uncovered needed repair 1/6/2012

I'm always pleased by the throughness of this place. When my (elderly) car went in for an oil change and inspection, everything checked out... except something I hadn't even noticed, that the engine mounts were going. Pricing was competitive, and repairs were made that same day. more

Great servive and good people 12/30/2011

I really was lucky to find North Hollywood Auto Repair, after an unfortunate meeting of my car and a piece of metal on the freeway. They were able to repair the major damage quickly and get my car back on the road. Jack and Saeed are honest and upfront and I appreciate that most of all, as unfortunately, some other repair shops see a woman as an easy target for frivolous charges and unnecessary repairs. I would, and do, recommend North Hollywood Auto Repair to anyone who drives a car! more

Aren't you tired of wondering if you got a fair shake on car repairs? I am. Thankfully I found these guys. Come by and take a load off your mind w/ some good ole fashioned KNOWLEDGEABLE, SUPERIOR, EFFICIENT, and CLEAR, understandable quotations, diagnoses and billing. They earned another shot from me easily. They can't mess around--they work to AAA standards. more

'So far, so good!!!' 12/10/2011

I just switched to North Hollywood Auto Repair from a different mechanic since I've been spending far to much money to keep my old clunker running. It's a little to early to tell, but everything seems in top shape. I was most impressed with the quality service that Jack and Saaid provide. They very clearly explained the work that was needed. They didn't charge for anything that didn't require immediate attention, though, pointed out anything that should be looked at soon. They actually helped me exchange a battery that was still under warranty, so that I didn't have to go to any trouble to return it to the dealer I'd purchased it from. They diagnosed, got back to me, and did the repairs in less than a day, which isn't something I'd experienced up till now. I highly recommend this shop! Excellent service! Thanks guys!!! more

I've been going for years to NoHo Auto Repair because they are trustworthy and do a great job. They also provide shuttle service for me since I have no one to pick me up or drop me off. This is great appreciated! I just wish the prices were a bit lower for someone like me on a bit of a budget. But I guess you get what you pay for. more
