Want to know the truth about northgate kennels??? So let me start by saying that all these positive reviews are fake or paid for. Everything they tell you on the phone and the website is a lie. they don't keep your dogs where they say or even where they give the tour for that matter. They don't show you where the dogs are kept because its embarrassing and the buildings don't have permits. Not up to code at all. The website says that they house up to 40 dogs, not true. Ive been all thru there and they have up to 150 kennels. just ask to see A kennel and B kennel and watch them try to lie their way out of it. Both A and B kennel had black mold with dogs present. They tell you that your dog gets out 3 times a day which is a lie. Its totally feesable but the staff is just to lazy. If your lucky your dog will get out once while they scoop up poop. They say that you can bring beds, blankets, toys, treats, etc.. for your dog, but don't bother. As soon as you leave they bag everything up and put a piece of tape with your name on it and put in a pile with everyone elses stuff. If you watch when you pick up your dog, they always comes down without bed,blanket etc... then you are asked to wait while they get the bed and blanket. 50% of the time your stuff is lost. If you ask to go get your dog yourself, you are asked to hold on a second. While you wait they move your dog down to where they give the tour or where they told you your dog would be. And if you think your dog is getting its medicine and personal food, your wrong. Medication either gets eaten by staff or thrown away. if you count all your medication you will see that its never correct. 90% of the time you will only get an empty bottle back and them saying that your dog got all its medicine. Personal food is stored away and never dealt with. The employees are to lazy to make up all the personal food bowls. So all dogs get the cheapest dog food that the owner can find. which is why your babie's bellies are all messed up when they get home.
