Pleasantly surprised! 9/15/2008

I just spent the night at The Nordic and found it to be recently updated and remodeled. I knew it was a small older motel so I was pleasantly surprised with how it looked when I drove up. Pros: Clean and comfortable and the price was right! Cons: No restaurant within walking distance more

Our Portland Experience 11/18/2007

My wife and I enjoyed our extended stay at Nordic Motel. The prices are more than reasonable for their weekly rates since we needed accommodations for 2 weeks. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The comfort of our room allowed us to feel like we were at home. Gourmet coffee was offered every morning. We also enjoyed the free high speed WiFi internet and the digital cable, which to our surprise included Showtime, HBO and ESPN. We would highly recommend our friends to the Nordic Motel for their motel/extended stay needs while in Portland, Oregon. If you have a 3 Star motel budget and want a 5 Star accommodation, the Nordic Motel is the place to be! Pros: Mass Transit-Max Line more

This place is a gem! 9/14/2006

What a pleasant surprise when I arrived. This place was kept very well. If you are looking for a place where you wont spend a lot of money but get great service and a beautiful room you have found it. They know how to pay attention to detail. The staff was friendly and they were willing to be flexible and accomdate all my needs. Pros: Fast and Friendly Service Cons: No Pool more
