I live near the restaurant so I thought I'd look on here for reviews and found pleasant ones, so I had to try it... I found out that ""Noodles"" rocks! For Italian food it doesn't...

Food is amazing, love having a glass of wine or beer in the relaxing environment. The staff are amazing, and make you feel right at home. more

Noodles is absolutely wonderful! When we can't decide what to eat, we always end up at Noodles. They are consistently good and everything I have tried (which is a lot!) has been not only just good, but outstanding. Everything is priced under $10, which is unbelievable for how amazing it is! They are quick as well! I would absolutely recommend Noodles! They also offer gluten free and whole wheat pasta for $0.50 extra, though I have never tried. more

We have been eating here for years..consistently wonderful food. Tonight, out of curiosity, I asked one of the owners how long they had been in business. 17 years!!! If a mom & pop restaurant can last that long, that is saying something. We highly recommend Noodles! more

Really Good Value 5/14/2011

Just stopped here for lunch with two friends, and was very pleasantly surprised with the quality & quantity of the food. Two of us had Fettuccine Alfredo and is was plentiful and creamy. I will be going back !!! more

It was really yummy! 1/11/2008

I live near the restaurant so I thought I'd look on here for reviews and found pleasant ones, so I had to try it... I found out that ""Noodles"" rocks! For Italian food it doesn't cost that much, for example, the Chicken Fettucini Alfredo cost $7.25, Beef Stroganoff costs $8.50, Garlic Shrimp Fettucini costs $8.95, Spaghetti Marinara costs $5.50, salads are from $3.25 to $6.75, and desserts are $3.25. Pros: Good service, Great food, Alright prices more

If I were rich, and had a plane, I'd fly to Portland just to eat here. No kidding! 4/2/2007

My headline pretty much sums it up. What this place did not spend on fancy decor, they spend on pure quality of food. I've been in expensive fancy Italian restaurants, and this reasonably-priced, modest-looking place bests them all, hands-down for fantastic quality of cooking. And the DESSERTS! You know that (ahem) certain famous restaurant scene in ""When Harry Met Sally""? Well, that's what came to mind when I first bit into their Creme Brulee Pie! Except I wouldn't have to fake it! Fortunately I kept quiet, but my friend was still laughing at the look on my face as I made that fantastic dessert last as long as I could. Nobody does it better. Wow. Good work, you guys. Pros: Staff who are wonderful and really care about if you like the food Cons: Too darn popular on Friday and Saturday nights! Go in the middle of the week. more

Fantastic Italian food! 10/2/2006

I LOVE this place!! Cheap, excellent, with huge portions. A $7 pasta dish is easily two meals, especially with the garlic/cheese French bread for $1.50. They have beer, wine, bottled rootbeer, and a lot of dessert choices. Pros: Simply excellent food and very affordable. Cons: Ambience is their only weak point. And when the food is that good, I don't really care where I'm sitting! more

Weeknight Delight 7/15/2006

After searching CitySearch for an inexpensive, take-out, westside Italian spot, I learned that Noodles is NOT the chinese dive I thought it was...it appears I wasn't the only one with this assumption. I found that the food really was great and that the service was even better. The braisen meat on rotelli was worth getting again and the cheese bread was delicious, although I would recommend eating it their (I took it home and didn't eat it for about 30mins after I got it!!). The staff was really helpful and polite. One guy went and got me a menu while I waited in line and then another employee brought my food out to my car! Noodles offers low prices and big quantities...great for leftovers! Pros: service, prices, quality Cons: parking, atmosphere more

Worth a visit! 4/9/2006

I don't think I would have ever tried this place if someone hadn't highly recommended to me. But, then I suppose you can't always judge a book by its cover... As mentioned, it is located along busy Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy and judging from the exterior you might think it is a Chinese Take-Out. Au contraire. Noodles offers wonderful Italian pasta dishes that are consistently excellent. I love their house salad with vinegarette and their cheesy garlic bread - if eaten on the spot while piping hot, it's amazing. Their portions are very generous and my husband and I ususally share an entree. Their desserts are all made in-house and are excellent! In fact, I've ordered a friend's birthday cake from there - Chocolate cake filled with espresso mousse. My only complaint is that they don't always have it on the menu! Pros: Excellent Food Cons: Atmosphere more

Delicious and reliable 7/5/2005

It seems I eat here at least once a week. It is the most consistant wallet-friendly Italian in Portland. Once you've found your favorite dish it's hard to explore the menu, but I always go with the cracked pepper and smoked turkey, or the seafood fettucini that has an abundance of seafood(scallops, salmon, shrimp) and a tasty sauce. The cheesy garlic bread is one of a kind and a must. more

Best place for pasta 4/3/2005

Noodles is great! They have a good selection of pasta like curry chicken, tiger shrimp with pene and a lot more. Another great item on the menu you can get is the bread. Their bread is probably the best bread I've ever tasted in my life. You can also get cheese with the bread to. Noodles also has many great deserts to choose from, I can't say what since I can't remeber any right now. The service there is really good. The people are nice and will help you with any questions you have. Another good thing about Noodles is the atmosphere. It's not big but it's a nice quiet place to eat and is very comfortable. I highly recomend this place because of the food, service and atmosphere. Pros: Food, Service, Quiet Cons: Small more

Noodles is always great! 12/10/2004

We go to Noodles regularly and have never had a bad plate of pasta. They are very consistant. The salads and deserts are very good too. The staff are nice and efficient. Pros: great food, nice staff, inexpensive more

VALUE EATING 9/27/2002

I have only been to this restaurant once. I had the Thai chicken dish. It was good and there bread has a wonderful taste to it. The food prices were reasonable and the atmoshphere is quiet and is a nice place to go that is small and gives a sense of relaxation. It appears that they do have a small selection of wines, though I did not get a chance to try any of them. Pros: Quiet, Friendly, Good food Cons: Small, Limited parking, Odd hours more
