Great food, Great for Kids 2/17/2007

They have a great little kids menu, My 6 year old said "this is the best meal Ive ever had" (he has said this before, but still a good thing.) He had a combination, Noodles, Dim Sum and chicken sate. I had a fantastic Indonesian dish Me Gorenge, that made me think I was back in Amsterdam. They also keep the place nice and warm in the winter, which is a plus for my wife. more

We've had take out from this joint a number of times now and I must say it has been very good. The menu is extensive, and everything we've had so far has had quality ingredients. I would note that there are very few exceptions to a very spicy menu. I would recommend the cold noodle salad and the chicken w/ coconut (sorry, they all have complicated names I can't remember). I thought the serving size was somewhat small for the price, but I would go back for the food. Since I've only done take out, I can't say I've noticed the creepy pictures noted by another reviewer. The place seems crowded whenever I am in the area though.. more

I haven't been to this place in a while. I've heard that their food has improved. During their makeover, however, they kept the creepy pictures of children that decorate their walls. The food is affordable still, though their lunch special has gone up in price. I am surprised and a little upset that they left the children pictures up and it offsets the improvements in cuisine in my mind. more
