Nock Apartments

I have about 40 pictures of this dump, just contact me & I'll email you the link. Before getting to all the flaws...the grease ball owner entered our apt before our last night there & shut off the a/c units & emptied the trash. This place is so worthless that we paid for 4 nights & didn't stay there one night! We went to the board walk & found a place for 5 nights, beachfront & cheaper than this dump! Rickity, depressing, trashy place to stay. Parking spots unbelievably close together. I drove a Chevy Suburban & the owner said if I couldn't fit in the provided parking spot, he'd let me park in front of their office. He said it's usually $60 a day to do so but he'd let me park there for free. Guess he thought he was doing me a favor. Apt. had 2 little a/c window units to try & cool off the 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen & bath. Rusty sinks, toilet & bathtub. Water smelt like sulfur. Mattresses were extremely nasty. One lamp in the whole apt. The light on the ceiling in the living room was an uncovered coiled bulb. Looks like a scene out of a movie where people would be sitting around after shooting up something. Hot, sticky & musty in the apt. Back door to apt. located in Kitchen, someone could have easily popped open with a knife. The structure of the building seems like any time now it's just going to topple to the ground. The wood is warped all throughout the building, steps etc. I'm in shock that is passes inspection every year. This place is just a complete dump. If you're used to any kind of class whatsoever, this is not for you. Even if you're used to staying at Motel 6, this is not for you. Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more

I do not even know where to begin with this. The landlords are horrible people who like to scam people out of there money. The apartments are overpriced, it should have been $40 for a week rather than $1200. This is the worst place I have ever stepped foot into. This is not appartent when you visit the web site because it shows only outdoor pictures, and if you call them they are extremly nice to you. But as always looks can be decieving. The inside was the most discusting thing I have ever seen. There were insects and hair and mold everywhere. Things look like they have never been cleaned, including the apallingly dirty bed sheets. There was a horrible odor that would not disappear (even with room spray). I cleaned the floors with clorox wipes and they immediatly turned black. Half of the appliances did not work and the others looked like they should not be allowed to contain any type of food. One of the wooden spoons we were so graciously given had mold growing all over it. The carpet was cheap and filthy. The decor is worse than that of a cheap hotel, it seemed as if the landlords went on the street in search of random objects and just threw them in a room. When checking out they took half of our deposit, because they claimed things were broken that were already damaged upon arrival and that the place ""looked like it had not been touched"" when in reality, I believed I cleaned more than they ever have. It was not only our apartment that this happened to, i talked to more than half of the others that stayed there and this happened to them as well. They look for teenagers to stay here without their parents so there is no arguing when taking the money. The landlord, Angelo, cursed multiple times in our presence. There was absolutly no privacy, considering they would just barg in. It was such a terrible experience that more than half of the people staying left early. Do not stay here unless you want to get the feeling of prison. Pros: Location Cons: Customer Service, Cleanliness, Privacy, Parking, Amenities, Value more
