I had suffered with back pain for many years. Two other surgeons had operated on my spine and I was left with weakness and severe leg and back pain. I first met with Ann Marie, a NP, who was fantastic and eased my concerns. Then she brought in Dr. Scheid, who was the ultimate professional. He diagnosed a problem that had been overlooked before (other surgeons had told me I was inoperable and would have to live with the pain forever) and explained a very complicated minimally invasive surgery. Three weeks later, I had a minimally invasive fusion, and I am pain free!! I cant believe how lucky I am that I came to Dr. Scheid. He and his team provide excellent care, especially for people like me that thought there was no hope. Thanks Capital Region Neurosurgery! I got an appt within just 2 days of calling. After a year of fighting with other drs and having no success with injections and physical therapy, Dr. Noce took my complaints very seriously! He took the time to look over my MRIs completely (I have various issues in the cervical,thoracic and lumbar spine) and scheduled me for my first of several surgeries right away. Dr. Noce has a very calming and understanding mannerism and does not believe in the ""let's wait and see"" approach. He takes spine issues seriously and wants to stop degenerative problems as soon as possible. The PA I dealt with, Brooke Riley, is just amazing! She is sweet and caring, and a total professional. Everyone on staff is courteous and professional. You walk into the office and are taken aback by their politeness. I HIGHLY recommend Capital Region Neurosurgery!!! If you're tired of the run around from every other doctor (even other neurosurgeons-like I got), give these guys a try!
