Ritzier than the Penn Stater..but 2/27/2006

When staying in State College, your choice of nice hotels is really between the Nittany Lion Inn and the Penn Stater. The Nittany Lion Inn is definitely ritzier, nicer rooms and common areas. The one puzzling thing is that there is no wireless internet access at the Nittany Lion Inn. I was surprised! They do have it at the Penn Stater, though! more

Nittany Lion Inn 8/19/2005

This hotel located directly on Penn State's University Park campus is an upscale place to stay in State College. The staff is usually college students but they are still very helpful and can answer any questions about Penn State. If you desire to stay at the Nittany Lion Inn you have to be aware that football games and move inn weekend result in a waiting list of more than a hundred people wanting a room that is 200+ a night. more
