This store makes the best mochi you can buy and it's no wonder why they are so popular. Probably the most popular is their individually wrapped chi chi dango which are small pieces of unfilled mochi sold by the pound. The mochi filled with lima beans, azuki (smooth or rough), or even peanut butter are great as well. But for me, the best is the pink mochi filled w/smooth azuki and covered with one slightly salty sakura leaf. They run out of that often but it is easily replenished if they still have the pink mochi and if you ask. The mochi (and smaller selection of manju) here are an absolute must when traveling so you can give your relatives some but it's best to order ahead to make sure you'll have some to take.
