Wow, not what I expected!!! 6/25/2006

When I first saw this place I thought it was a fast food sandwich shop. Then I ate dinner there a couple nights ago. Wow!! was I surprised. It is a casual envirornment, but the food is very nice. We had the crab cakes to start, then I had the Lobster and crab ravioli. Wonderful!! Pros: Food, Service, Food Cons: Wouldn't have guessed the food based on the look more

Menu caught our attention but service and delivery of the finished product was a BIG disappointment. There are so many great family restaurants with good service and quality food in Alpharetta that this was a shame. Concept is good, execution makes me wonder if this one will be around in a year. I have been to Oughtabee's many times and will continue to dine here for the food, service and atmosphere. The food is delicious and unique and the servers are courteous and helpful. I had an opportunity to thank the executive chef for the consistently excellent service my friends, family and I have received and I was not disappointed; he is a consummate professional who truly cares for this restaurant which is evident judging from the final product. I just discovered this great restaurant. Wow! I am impressed. I had a great conversation with the manager, owner and the new chef. Nice group of guys, very personable. Food is just amazing!! Steak was wonderful, and I love the choices of vegetables. I also had a great martini! Service was great as well, very nice people. My server's name was Jen, she took very good care of us. A Perfect Night!! 12/14/2005

Took a party of 10 to this restaurant for a holiday party. The food delicious and the service exceptional. We were treated us like royalty. Bad Service 2X! 11/21/2005

Against better judgment I tried Oughtabees a second time with a party of 6. The menu is impressive and unique but after waiting 40 minutes for the appetizer to be served I remembered why I vowed never to be back after my first trip. My wife, bless her heart, ordered the filet mignon without the added fixin's (blue cheese) and it showed up in full attire. We sent it back and it showed up cooked rare - she ordered it well. The wait staff was young and inexperienced - even handed one of the guests a piping hot plate which subsequently slammed to the table. The waitress walked away without even an apology. Service? 8/6/2005

I was in there on Thursday and they were using some loud machine to do something, when I approache the manager he blew me off. I said something again and some woman just wanted to argue. Great place for the family to eat a great meal. 5/15/2005

My wife and I love Oughtabees, we probably eat there 3 times a week. They have a wide variety of menu options. I am impressed with their selection of vegetables. Best meatloaf I have had (except for my wife's. . in case she reads this). Spinach, carrots, broccoli, baked potatoes, corn, not sure what all else, but many sides to choose from. My kids love the Octa Dog 5/13/2005

My kids beg to go to Oughtabees everynight because of this ""octa dog"". It is really fun, mac n cheese with a hot dog on top made to look like a octapus. We love the healthy variety of the veggies and the rest of the menu. Pros: Kids fun food, veggies, great place more

Incredible Brunch! 5/11/2005

My family went for brunch on Mother's day. We did not have reservations. They were very busy but worked us in. The food was incredible! I had the special omellet, it had crab, tomatoes and basil. . . WOW. My wife had the almond french toast with bananas foster, I had to eat some of it too. The kids enjoyed a peanut butter and jelly french toast. Very unique food, you can really tell they care. Service was great too. We are customers for life! more

Really good sandwiches for lunch 5/11/2005

I was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant that makes sandwiches with boar's head meat. It really makes a difference. I eat at Oughtabees 3 times a week. The ""build your own sandwich"" gives a great variety in the choices. Very good stuff. Pros: Variety, Quality Meat more

Oughtabees is easily one of the best new ""family oriented"" restaurants we have been to in the North Fulton area. The lunch and dinner menus have a large selection with options to satisfy everyone in the family. Brunch is second to none. The options for brunch on Sunday after church were not very appealing until now. The food, staff, and overall decor makes this a true top pick for our family and friends. more

Family friendly with health in mind. They offer take-out and delivery which is a way to have ""home cooking"" at home without cooking! The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed...children feel welcome. The menu offers lots of delicious choices and is different for lunches, dinners and brunches...everything I have tried has been wonderful. There is a separate kitchen for cooking classes. more

I work in Alpharetta and live in Lawrenceville. I'd been to OughtaBee's for lunch and loved it, so one Sunday morning after church my family and I drove the distance to OughtaBee's for brunch. Let me tell you, ""It was worth every mile!"" Being a family of five, we were able to sample many items on the menu. Not only was the food very delicious, but we were served adequate portions of everything and we left very satisfied. I highly recommend the Breakfast Quesadillas or the Corned Beef Hash for brunch. Oughtabees should be named Havetabees! 5/3/2005

After all my european travels, I really enjoy the local neighborhood atmosphere of Oughtabees. It is a place where everyone knows your name, where three is company and never a crowd. I used to think father knows best, but now I know Oughtabees knows best. The efforts they put forth in their customer service are outstanding! more
