A true ""hole in the wall"" but you will not regret giving it a chance. I find the interior second only to the now (sadly) closed Kool Corner Grocery. On a nice sunny day, you'll be lucky to find a table outside during the lunch rush. Great food for a great price. I stick with Nik's Special these days, a gyro, potatoes and a drink for $7.25 including tax. Nik's sauce should come with a warning label on it because I'm a junkie for the stuff. You order and eat, then pay. One time, I forgot to pay on a Friday and it bugged me all weekend long because they didn't open again until Monday. You can grab the same food for dinner at their other place on Whitlock Ave, Nik's Place/The Back Porch. About the same level of decor but with a smoky bar in the back. Service is always great at both places with friendly, down to earth folks.
Pros: gyros, grilled potatoes, nik's sauce
Cons: unkempt appearance, only open for lunch
