Ok, so I actually went to Nick and Pedro's last December after seeing The Nutcracker. It was a great night, so we decided to continue with the evening and go out for dinner. We randomly chose Nick and Pedro's as we passed by. It was our first (and last) time going. First of all, we were the only ones in the restaurant. That should have been a red flag, especially since it was a Saturday evening, but we thought that maybe the rainy weather kept people from going out. Anyway, we ordered a mixed green salad to share. I literally gagged. It was dressed with ONLY lemon juice (and you could tell it was from a bottle). I didn't want to be annoying or rude, so I tried to force it down, unsuccessfully. When I told the server, he awkwardly smirked and took the plates away. My entree was alright, although the vegetables were way overdone. However, my boyfriend's meal (an $18 tricolor pasta dish with pancetta chips) was mushy and watery. With the salad, 2 entrees, and 2 glasses of wine, the dinner came out to be $90 (including tip). Why, after so many months, am I finally writing a review? The experience stuck with me, and I figured that it was better late than never to warn other possible customers about the joint.
Pros: Nicely decorated
Cons: overcooked food, disgusting salad, and overpriced items
