Editorial review from Citysearch 7/29/2012

Worth a trip up from Novato for sure. My hubby and I love coming here and going to the movies down the street. Their pizza is so good!! It has spoiled us for anything in Novato, hence the drive. They also have great salads, nice homestyle Mom and Pop place, not enough of them these days. Support this place they have yummy pizza. more

Horrible Service Horrible Waitress 8/26/2010

My family and I went to this retaurant with our children after a day of shopping. This was the worst experience I have ever had. The waitress did not provide any customer service to us while we were there and never came back to see if we needed anything. When it came time to pay the bill we were abrupty notified that they do no accept debit/credit. When we asked for a box for the left over pizza the waitress said do you really need a box for three slices of pizza and then she rolled her eyes. Wait it gets better...when we left the restaurant she approached us and asked why we didn't leave a tip and after explaining to her that she did not provide customer service and she was rude she proceeded to yell and scream at us in front of our children and then she said don't come back and get off the street you are making it look dirty. When I went to speak to the owner she was not helpful and let the waitress continue to yell at us. As I was walking out of the place she yelled next time cook at home.....unbelievable behavior. We found out later that the owner is her mother...We would never eat here again ......... more

Pizza Perfect! 3/14/2008

There is no doubt in my mind that this is one of our town?s best restaurants. I have been a patron for over 15 years, and the quality never falters. The service is always excellent, the food is wonderful, and the prices are great! If you have not yet tried the Philly Cheesesteak, you are missing out. And the breadsticks are to die for. But come to think of it, EVERY thing they offer is wonderful. Pros: The delicious food, great prices, and the mom & pop atmosphere Cons: Nothing! more

RUDE RUDE RUDE! 9/4/2007

This is, hands down, the worst restaurant I've EVER been to. I'm new to the area (military) and decided to explore some pizza joints. This was the third place I went to. As I walked in, the door was propped open to allow the fresh air in, which seemed nice. So, I walked in knowing immediately what I wanted to order without looking at the menu. I placed my order of a small pizza and sat down and waited...and waited...and waited. 20 minutes went by and no food (by the way, there were only two other people in there). So I went to the counter and asked to have the pizza to-go and proceeded to pay. I whipped out by debit card to pay and the plump girl behind the counter said they only take cash. I jokingly said ""are you serious? nobody carries cash anymore!"" The girl behind the counter annoyingly said ""I'm so sick of hearing that, this is a family-owned business and they can do what ever the want."" She directed be to walk two blocks to the ATM (pay a surcharge) to get cash. After walking back to a cold pizza and a cold staff, the witch of a cook came out and started laying into me about their cash only policy. I left the store with two unpleasant people yelling and cussing telling me to go back where I came from! Unreal! I asked them if I could have the owners email address or number, but they both claimed to be the owners. As a result, I drive by that place everyday in disgust and tell everyone possible to steer clear! Pros: Leaving Cons: Staff more

The BEST Garlic Bread in the World!!! 6/27/2004

Hi, I found this place maybe 10 years ago and it has GREAT FOOD! We enjoyed the pizza and pasta alot, but my real favorite is the GARLIC BREAD!!! Order some when you first get there and you'll probably love it so much that you'll get an order to go. We live in Sacramento, so it's hard to visit as often as we'd like, but it's a great place to go if you love ""unpretentious"" Italian/American food!!! It's near the water and there are some nice shops across the street too. Well worth a visit!!! : ) Pros: The Food!!!, The Food!!!, DidImention The Food? Cons: , Not in Laguna!!!, Not in Sacramento!!! more
