If I could give this company Zero stars, I would. I called today, asked for a cab-- was told 'Wouldnt be long'. I understood tihs was just a tactic for not giving a time frame. Waited over and hour and called back, asked for an estimated time frame Id have to wait. 'Im still trying to get someone out there' is what I was told. So no one was even on the way. An hour later. So I asked again, how long. The dispatcher by the name of 'Brian' gets nasty and starts cussing and hangs up on me. I call back and say one thing 'Can I speak to your supervisor'. He says 'Supervisor? Whats that mean? Who has a supervisor?' I say 'Sorry, Ill break it down for you, your Boss' he cusses at me some more, and again hangs up. I call a 3rd time, at this point Im livid. Who talks to people-- customers at that, in this manner? People who dont want to deal with the public, shouldnt and this man should be fired, or put somewhere he doesnt have to open his disrespectful mouth. \r \r One of the reviews says 'In their defense, they talk to a lot of people'. Thats what dispatchers do. You dont hear 911 operators or Police dispatchers talk this way. I did not call 5 mins later, and if people do-- I shouldnt be treated like that no matter how many times someone else called. BUT In Brians Defence-- He probably didnt complete high school & this is the only job he can maintain. Im not sure how he gets dressed in the morning to be honest. \r \r Do yourself a solid favor, Dont call Eastern. more

New Eastern Cab is the best cab service in Baltimore County. We have some dispatchers who need to learn how to treat customers but in their defense its not easy to answer 300 phone calls and talk to 25 drivers all at the same time. We have professional drivers who for the most part are very courteous and will help anybody at anytime do anything. People call the office wanting a cab and then call back 5 minutes later wondering where the cab is and the only place they want to go is to the bar or right across the street. Meanwhile we are trying to get someone to their job. We drive cars we dont fly helicopters. The very same person who wrote the comment below is probably one who would make us wait 10 minutes for them to come out and get into the cab which inturn makes the next person have to wait that much longer for their cab. And please whoever you are that wrote the comment about the rates. If you dont know what the starting rate is to get in a taxi cab then you need to call Yellow Cab and see how well that works out for you. New Eastern Cab does not determine the rates that is done by your friendly neighborhood Public Service Commission. All meters are tested and are ACCURATE. When i called the other day to take a taxi from Middle River air craft systems, i had to wait over 45 minutes, for a cab whose company is located in middlesex. i called the cab at 11:30am, so it should not have been busy. however, when i called the first time the dispatcher ""anne"" told me that the cab would be there in about ten minutes. i waited 45. then when i called back anne got really ignorant so i asked her what her name was to report her to the manager, hence the name ANNIE. she was very vulgar, offensive and rude, telling me if i called again about my cab, i would not get one. she then told me when i asked for the manager that, she was in fact the manager of the company and owned all the taxis in essex. when i finally got the cab, i explained this to the driver, who then informed me that i was in the right, because he was sitting somewhere in hawthorn for thirty minutes waiting on a job to come in. for what its worth if you can work around this dispatcher, its great service, however with her there, she is ignorant and offensive. i assume just call atwater!
