Today 7/1/10 was the second time me and my family visit this restaurant, and as the first time, We had a great time. First the food is delicious, this including the desserts, and second the service was amazing! Starting with the location, it is a small restaurant but it's comfortable and has a nice ambiance, really nice music plays at all times. It is really enjoyable! Then follows the food! My favorite plate so far is the "parrillada", it's a very exquisite plate that contains a variety of meats including chorizo, churrasco, chicken, etc... Simply delicious!!! It is accompanied by a side which you will have the chance to choose. My pick??? Baked potato covered with cheese and a dollop of sour cream! --- incredibly good! You should totally try this, I recommend! The service was another thing that made my night at the restaurant very delectable! All of he servers are really good, but the most marvelous service I had was from a server called Pablo, and from other one called Ignacio, aka: Nacho. These tow guys offered great attention, and took care of our cravings and necessities. They also gave us their best smiles and even offerred their opinion on the best plates of the house! These guys rocked! That's why every now and then when I go over for a special time I ask for then especially. Another thing I enjoyed was the dessert, OMG! I had the best dessert ever! I can't remember it's name, but I can describe it! It is a little thin-looking cake, that when you cut it with the spoon let's out hot chocolate sauce, and has on the side a scoop on vanilla ice cream, very well presented on a plate with caramel and strawberry. Totally devine! I think about it and it makes my mouth water! Mmmm! Well, what can I say, very good restaurant, excellent service (Pablo & Ignacio are the best servers), very good food, enjoyable time! So if you are around and want to try something new, pass by, you will not regreat it! more

starting with the amazingly comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, the beautiful and gracious co-owner Carlye will greet you and take you to one of their small and comfortable tables. The wine selection is just so perfect to accompany the succulent meats they serve on well thought-out plate arrangements, full of sides perfectly prepared. The Morcilla (traditional Argentinean blood sausage) is not only kindly priced, but superbly juicy and delicious! if you are very hungry, you cannot go wrong with the Super Bife New Campo Argentino (20 oz NewYork strip steak), the word 'super' describes the size and taste of this magnificent steak perfectly.\r Pastas and Pizza are made to order and will surprise you with their simplicity and fragrant home made tastes.\r I highly recommend this genuine restaurant for all budgets with a discerning taste.\r Cheers\r F. more

A taste of Argentina at your doorstep 5/29/2010

This restaurant is a humble spot surrounded by other venues that may at first seem classier and are certainly more expensive... but don't be deceived - the elegant wait staff and a kitchen staff that recreates mouth watering dishes equal to the finest cuisine you'd receive in Puerto Madero, Belgrano or Palermo Hollywood (the toniest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires) or even ritzy Punto Del Este, Uruguay is right here at your doorstep. The gnocchi melt in your mouth like luscious pillows of pasta, the meat is fresh and something to salivate over, the wine list just right and all of it is also within your budget - what are you waiting for - head there for lunch or dinner today! Pros: Delicious affordable food - handsome wait staff Cons: Absolutely none - this place is a gem! A diamond! more

Nice small restaraunt. Unique flair of Argentenian and American cuisine. If you want something familiar with a bit of cultural flair try this place. Prices low to moderate but portions are huge!! more

The worst experience ever!!!!!! 7/10/2007

Ok first of all we got there and there were just 2 other families eating. The food took at least 45 minutes while we were waiting none one came to our table to see if we were doing ok or maybe if we needed some more coke, My dad decided to ask the waitress of another table if she could bring us more bread and she said that she couldnt because she wasnt our waitress and because the bread comes with the steak and our steak wasnt ready yet!! she was very unpolite. After we ate she came up with one check so we told her that we wanted 2 separate checks and she said that she couldnt do it so we imagine that maybe because they do everything through a computer but the check was hand written !!!!!! so my dad ask her that why was she refusing to separate our checks??? she said she didnt know what we ate, even though she brought our check to the table!!!! she also charged us 9% of taxes while the tax in that Florida county is of 7%. We decided we were not gonna tip her, we wanted our change back. She didnt bring it! This was the worst experience ever after we told her that the service was the worst ever she said that her restaurant didnt need customers like us; we were shock none one has ever treated us so unpolite, disrespectful and rude\r WORST SERVICE EVER Cons: rude waitress and owners more

The worst resturant experience I have ever had! 10/14/2006

My wife & I attempted to eat at CAMPO ARGENTINO PARRILLADA on: 10-15-2006. We both sat outside & waited 15 Min. before being served. My wife ordered Short Ribs (Medium Temp) & I ordered a New York Steak (MR). After the server had taken our order, it took a 45 Min. before our food came out. Not once did the server come back & ask if we where ok. When the food finally came out we both noticed that both our steaks came out well done! My wife decided to keep hers & I sent mine back. I then had to wait another 30 Min. to get my steak again. The whole time while I was waiting for my steak to come back, nobody approached us & asked if we were ok. After 30 Min. my steak finally arrived & this time it was MW. Of course being a steak love I sent it back again & asked to speak to the MNGR.. We waited 15 Min. & finally our waiter came out & un-politely said; whats going on? When I explained to him that I had ordered a MR steak he attempted to argue with me claiming that it was MR, then he left. After another 15 Min. of waiting in limbo, one of the waitresses comes out with our Tab. I told her I didnt ask for the check... she replied the MNGR. told me to send it out. When I asked is I can please speak to the MNGR. out she claimed that our server was the MNGR.. Confused, I went inside to ask for myself I approached the bar & asked to speak to the owner. /the gentleman behind the bar said that he was the owner. I explained to him what was going on & he started arguing with me, claiming that the MW steak was indeed MR. I asked him why we where had received the check & he replied that he had already cooked 2 steaks & he was not going to cook another one. when I reminded him that my steak came out wrong he proceeded to argue with me again. When I complained about receiving my check he was very un-apologetic & did not offer any recourse at all. Cons: Unprofessional Managers & Owners. more

spectular 2/2/2006

Easily the best meal I have had in ages. the service was the best. We had fried cheese, the most creamy, divine lasange and the grilled steak. The chimmchirri sauce was so good I could have eaten with a spoon. The vegetable soup haunts me since I live in California. We ate two meals here in two days and they were the high point of our vacation. Pros: fresh, orginal, delicous, fun Cons: none, none, none more

Very bad Service 4/27/2005

I was there once. I sat down and after 30 minutes someone came to my table to assist me. After someone took my order. It took them another 30 minutes to bring my food to my table. I just wanna say that the service is so bad that I erase the restaurant from my list. more
