My wedding was 3 weeks away. I had a huge problem with my gown not coming in that i ordered MONTHS ago from The Wedding Bell. They called me and said some crap about the manufacturer discontinuing my dress but i KNOW i ordered my gown before it was discontinued... bottom line i lost the deposit on my gown aaaand i wasnt gonna be able to get the dress in that I originally fell in love with! I walked into Lady Margaret's in tears and my consultant Siri helped me find a BEAUTIFUL gown that I love EVEN BETTER than my original dress! I LOVE THIS STORE! Thank you Lady Margaret's and your wonderful staff!! They did the alterations in the store and everything and my wedding was picture perfect! 100 star rating! :] more

I walked into Lady Margaret's Bridal Studio and was greeted with a smile by the receptionist and was immediatly introduced to my consultant. She was so sweet and she showed me and my mom that she was truly interested in helping me find my perfect dress. It took about 25 minutes for me to find it. We were so excited! If finally all fell together that I was going to be the bride this time instead of the bridesmaid. The room was spacious and tidy and had a few sample tiaras, shoes, and veils in the room to help us see the big picture! I went to a few other bridal shops but they honestly did not hold a candle to the service and experience that the staff at Lady Margaret's had. Right before I made my decision on which gown was right for me, Lady Margaret introduced herself to me and treated me as if we had known each other forever! I was trying to decide which dress I wanted. One was $1650 and the other was $998. She was the one who suggested the CHEAPER one looked better, as if it were made for me. The fact that they dont work on commission, and just wanted a happy bride made all the difference for me. I took the dress home that was below budget and I couldnt have been happier!! Lady Margaret's is MOST DEFINITELY the place to go when you are planning the biggest day in your life. I would recommend this shop to ANYONE!! more

Friendly sales people, not pushy which I don't understand the earlier reviews that I read. Lovely shop, great atmosphere. Looks small from the outside but rather substantial inside. Found out they don't work on commission so they weren't shoving products down your throat but very helpful. Private Rooms were an absolute PLUS!!! Other places I had gone to offered little or no service, no private rooms and pushy, very pushy. I practically got everything done for my bridal party at this store including tuxes. Alterations were great so I have no complaints about that.\r \r The only drawback is that the weekend was busy but understandably so but when I came back during the week, I had more time to try on more dresses. Pros: not pushy, private rooms, variety of services. Cons: busy weekends but understandable more

i don't even know where to start! from the moment i walked in the staff was so sweet to me! they all greeted my family and i and made us feel so welcomed! it was obvious that they were busy (there were tons of people in the store) but they never once made me feel rushed.\r \r i'd been to several other stores and had explained my ''perfect'' dress to them, but none of them listened to me! but when i explained my dress to the lady margarets consultant, she picked out a few dresses and the first one i tried on was exactly what i wanted!\r \r lady margaret herself, (it's true, there is a real lady margaret!) came out to look at me in the dress and she was so sweet! she took the time to talk about my wedding plans with me and was so helpful!!\r \r i absolutly loved lady margaret, her store and staff! they took so much stress off of my wedding! i would recommend lady margarets to EVERYONE!! Pros: amazing service, prices, staff, and the perfect dress! :) Cons: i have no cons! everything was just what every bride needs! more

I went to this bridal salon a little scared because my first experience trying on dresses was so horrible at another place but from the moment i walked in i was welcome with smiles! All of the staff treated me with so much kindness and looked like they where actully happy to have me there and help me with anything that I needed. They where informative, helpful, and over all a complete delight to to be around. I would most definatly recommend this shop to anyone who wants to make thier dress searching process one that is not only fun and exciting but also completely stress free! :) Pros: awesome customer service, gorgous gown, good prices more

I am really surprised by the other reviews on here so I felt compelled to write one of my own.\r \r From the moment I walked into Lady Margarets for my 1st visit I was treated like family, I have never seen more friendly & caring sales staff & Lady Margaret herself is wonderful she even makes it a point to greet me everytime I'm in the store as well as every other client I've ever seen in there! I found the dress of my dreams on my 1st visit and every appt. since has been just as enjoyable. Everything was delivered on time as promised & my alterations were perfect.. \r \r My dress is absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend Lady Margarets to everyone!! Pros: Lady Margaret & her whole staff!! Cons: I have no complaints my entire experience was great. more

I would not advise this bridal salon. The staff is nice but the owner is rude, once you have committed to a gown there it seems she could care less about the clients. Shopping for your wedding gown is supposed to be an amazing experience, one of my girlfriends did buy (bc it was close to her house) her gown here recently and the store did not have the dress, so it had NEVER been tried on, Lady Margaret refused to allow her to try on her gown without paying in full prior, this wouldnt have been a problem if she was told this when she ordered the gown, she rushed us at her first time trying on the gown, mind you it wasnt even busy in the salon and we were there less than 30 minutes, but LM kept coming back and trying to have us leave. When we asked to see the bridesmaids gown next to the dress (not even trying it on) it was a MAJOR problem for her . I have been to the salon many times, looking for my personal wedding dress as well as shopping with several girlfriends and her attitude always seems the same, don't bring children she acts as if they have the plague...even very well behaved children. I would advise other salons...but not this one if you want a pleasent and fun experience, the Wedding Bell in Tacoma is tiny but they have the same dresses/designers, and a much nicer staff and most importantly you are not rushed or treated like an inconvience. The short of it all: Shopping at Lady Margaret's is like shopping at a car dealership. Too many similarities to list. And I can say that because I've worked at one before. \r \r Where to begin? Well, their dressing rooms are spacious and each one is pretty much private which is nice (think of the showroom at a car dealership). Sales staff is very friendly (think of the sales people at a car dealership). Owner is absolutely rude (think of the managers at a car dealership). I found the dress I'm buying for considerably less at two other stores and when I asked if they price matched, they said they did within reason, which is completely understandable. When I told them what price the other shops have the dress at, Lady Margaret came in and said to make sure the dress I would be buying from the other store is a true Mori Lee (hmm...interesting, since I got the stores' names and #s, including Lady Margaret's, off the Mori Lee website).\r \r Then she says she can match it if I can ""bring in a written note saying they will sell it to you at that price."" And she continues with a couple other questions and comments, clearly insinuating that she thinks I'm completely lying. I fail to see why on Earth people think they should try to put a hard sell on a bride (and be rude on top of that) to sell a bridal gown. \r \r So, I'm heading to the other shop that has the ""true Mori Lee"" gown for much less. Seriously, if I'm going to another shop that sells the gown for less, I'm not going to get a written note saying they will sell it to me at $XX price, I'm just going to buy the dress from them, especially since they know how to treat a customer. Pros: Private, large dressing rooms Cons: RUDE owner, higher prices more

As soon as I paid for my Bridal gown, the service went down the tube. My bridesmaids were terribly by several members of the shop and even ""Lady"" Margaret herself. My dress was the only one delivered on time, but then the alterations- only a three point bustle- were done very shady...they would not show me how to tie the bustle up because they said its only meant to be put up once then is ruined if you let it out, so I never noticed until the day of the wedding that only one point was actually in the dress, so my beautiful train is thrashed. Bridesmaids dresses ordered in wrong color due to an emploee error and oversight on the bridemaids part when she signed the reciept, but they hastled us saying we just changed our minds about the color, tried to get us to pay for new ones, etc. Then dresses did not come when promised, so I asked what they do in that situation, and they said in their fine print it states that they are not accountable for late shipping and again, told us we could pay full price for something else. Final two of five dresses did not arrive until the week of the wedding.\r When all was said and done, no apologies were offered from the owner or her stuck up employees and I have made sure to tell anyone who will listen just how awful they are. Spend your money ANYWHERE else! They offer the same styles and designers as any other local bridal shop, but tend to try to beat out those other stores prices- which is how I ended up buying there. Do not be fooled, the fifty dollars they ""saved"" me almost cost my bridesmaids $160 each. Pros: Same dresses as anywhere else, so try anywhere else first! Prices lower here for my bridal gown, but hassel not worth the $ saved Cons: Rude owner and employee's, unattentive, unsupportive, lack of common courtesy or compassion more

They took 30 minutes after my appointment had started to get dresses ready for me. That delay ment there was less time to try dresses and make a decision. They pushed me out for the next appointment. They are obviuosly unprepared and don't want business. more

I am so suprised there are no reveiws for Lady Margarets Bridal Shop!\r \r Right when I walked in I was greeted like it was my own shop! My consultant was really in tuned to what I was looking for. I had this dress in my mind and no where seemed to carry it. Only the 2nd dress she pulled, I had butterflies and my mom teared up. I knew it was the one! !! They dimmed the lights to get that ""romantic"" feel and WOW! I cant explain, all I needed was my fiance by my side! Lady Margaret came in (YES there is a Lady Margaret!) and said I looked absolutely beautiful in the gown. \r I definetly recommend this shop to anyone who has the jitters about finding your dress. more
