Dr. Dooley is the nicest doctor I have ever seen! He was very open to hearing problems and concerns. In this day and age, it is refreshing to go to a doctor and not have them try ...

Editorial review from Citysearch 12/10/2013

12/10/13 - My daughter is scheduled for a tonsillectomy to be performed by one of the physicians at Nevada ENT & Hearing Associates. My daughter (over the age of 18) was told that she was required to pay a $100 surgery deposit. Another one of my daughters (who does not reside with my husband and me) had this same surgery performed in June, 2013 and she paid the ""required"" surgery deposit. When the insurance provider sent the EOB, the co-pay was approximately $47.30, not $100, but my daughter didn't know any better at the time (20 years old and did not consult with me) and she then had to request a refund of the surgery deposit overpayment which took the staff some time to process a refund.\r My husband and I have very good health insurance (we are very fortunate) and when I called the office this afternoon and spoke to Portia (in billing) , I told her that I would be willing to pay only $48, I was put on hold and then told that the surgery schedulers require a minimum of $100 in order for the phycisian to perform the surgery. I told her that my insurance is clearly on the list that is provided on the office website and that I would only pay $48. She then changed her tune and said that the surgeon required a minimum deposit of $100. This has been the same problem that my daughter has experienced with office visits. The co-pay for the office visits has not been in excess of $11 (approximately $10.49) and my daughter was initially asked to pay a $20 co-pay and then that changed to $30. Each time, my daughter has refused and told the staff upon checkout that the office would be paid what is due upon receipt of the EOB from the insurance provider and a statement from the office showing that the insurance payment was recieved and that the other necessary adjustments have been applied (contracual allowances between the physician and the insurance company).\r I have had a few surgeries over the past 15 years and have not ever been asked to ""front"" a ""surgery deposit"".\r This is unfortunate, but my daughter will be forced to fidn another ENT based strictly on principles. more

Dr. Dooley is amazing 8/3/2011

Dr. Dooley is the nicest doctor I have ever seen! He was very open to hearing problems and concerns. In this day and age, it is refreshing to go to a doctor and not have them try and sell you medications, procedures or surgeries. Dr. Dooley was very honest about the surgical aspect of my deviated septum and even told me that he didn't think surgery would help with my issues. The staff at Nevada ENT & Hearing were also very nice and friendly! more

I wouldn't see anyone else!! 7/31/2008

I have been going to Dr. Zamboni for about 10 years for my ears and I absolutely love him! He is so caring and willing to answer any questions that you might have, he is exactly what a doctor should be! I have holes that are in my ear drums from so many sets of tubes and he has been trying to close them using cigarette paper. He has been successful on my left ear but the right ear doesn't want to do anything. Because of the pain that it causes me when he does it he is now going to go in and close them surgically. He always tries to come up with any other way but surgery before he will go in and do it. I would recommend him to anybody and will keep seeing him for as long as I need to. Our insurance changed a couple of years ago and he was no longer on our plan but he worked with us so we could keep seeing him. He is an awesome doctor and person! Like I told him a couple of days ago when I was in there, I hate what he has to do to me but I absolutely love him! Pros: He is the greatest doctor! Cons: You have to wait for awhile before your appointment more

While my husband is being treated for Cancer; we we're going through the absolute worst time in our lives, but God has sent us a gift in the form of Dr. Zamboni.\r \r He defines what every doctor should be. His knowledge, skill, caring and support are unsurpassed. He will address every question or concern you have.\r \r You might spend some extra time in the waiting room, but you realize he is giving another patient the same exceptional care he gives us all. All of his attention is focused on his patient, and unlike so many other doctors I have yet to see him look at his watch.\r \r We are truly blest to have the person in our lives. Pros: None better more

Dr. Anthony Zamboni is the best 1/23/2007

My father was diagnosed with oral cancer two years ago...and although the lab work came back negative at first, Dr. Zamboni didn't give up on what he believed to be the problem. Dr. Zamboni sat and let us read off our lists of questions and he answered them one by one. He comforted my father (and our family) with his knowledge and genuine concern. There is no other doctor I would have wanted treating my dad. It's been two excellent years of recovery with Dr. Zamboni seeing him every month. Cons: none at all more

Someone who cares.... 5/31/2006

I can't say enough about this man. His genuine care and concern for me and my family has been such a breath of fresh air. There are doctors that just listen and give you pills and send you your way. Then there is Dr. Zamboni. Genuinely hears and LISTENS, then does everything he can to help. He has worked wonders on my daughter who was born with a cleft lip. My first visit to him was so warm and inviting. Just looking him in the eye, you know he genuinely cares about your well being and really wants to help. Just fantastic. My family and I thank God for Dr. Zamboni. I highly recommend him. Steve Hines Pros: Genuine, Caring Cons: none, none, none more

Smart, caring, and great communication style 2/1/2006

Doctor Dooley was finally recommended by Zamboni as a 2nd opinion to explore surgical options. Based on all my tests, Dr. Dooley didn't feel comfortable beginning any surgical process until many things could be ruled out and felt very strongly that my condition was neurological instead of classic Meneire's. I mentioned my discomfort with both Schwartz and Louie and he immediately concluded that I should see a Dr. Quaglieri who he said with personal experience would treat my condition like a bull. I was pleased with the time he took to hear my experiences and was pleased that he wished to see an unrushed treatment, but a treatment that evaluated all sides of the coin. Pros: Very empathetic, Professional, very knowledgeable Cons: Wait time was painful, none, none more
