Called up to schedule a diesel smog was told it was around 40 dollars +,where as sierra diesel injection on Mill St charges 35 bucks, not to mention the person who answered the ph...

Berney and his crew are awesome! They helped me out so much when it came to my Altima. Berney gave me an estimate and hit it on the head and even after the problem was more of a hassle then originally thought, I was not charged extra and Berney kept his word. I would recommend this shop to anyone. All the guys there were very nice and professional and the lounge was comfortable and relaxing. Thank you Nevada Auto Diagnostics and Berney for all of your help you guys rock! more

This shop is the best! Went there today for a few repairs on my truck, and could not believe the service I got. I have been to a few repair shops, but none as great as these guys were, the manager went out of his way to make sure my truck was done promptly,(being a single mom I can not be without my truck), and it was, at about half the price I was quoted from other shops. I could not believe how nice everyone was there, I am so happy with their service ,its my one and only shop from here on! THANKS EVERYONE AT NEVADA AUTO DIATICS!!!! more

#1 PLACE TO GO! 4/2/2013

I went to get a smog today at Nevada Auto Diagnostics today, got a smog within 15 min , everyone there was super polite, very friendly, and professional. Never had such great service at a shop. This will be the only shop I will go to from here on out. fantastic business in every aspect. more

I know people that work for Nevada Auto Diagnostic. Bernie the manager is very fair with all his employee's. He tried to help out anyone he can in any way he can. He is a Manager that i have known for 3 yrs he's always willing to help me with my vehicle. As far as the work schedule goes i know that he tell's employee before he or she ever being work the schedule, then asks them do you have any issues with that. The former employee that complaining about the hours being worked i can garrentee that he agreed to terms before starting working for Nevada Auto Diagnostic. From what i have seen everyone there is happy. Personally I have seen them work on one of the biggest if not the biggest client in Reno/Sparks area Granite Construction, they are very happy with repairs on there vehicles. more

Called up to schedule a diesel smog was told it was around 40 dollars +,where as sierra diesel injection on Mill St charges 35 bucks, not to mention the person who answered the phone said thanks for calling nevada.... I was confused, I didn't know if I had called the state or this high priced repair shop. more

Embarrassment of a shop. 8/2/2011

I took my new truck in to get a smog check (used truck, but new to me) and it failed because of not having a catalytic converter. Its a diesel and seems to be common that guys that dont smog their trucks remove as many restrictions in the exhaust as possible, I know this, but didn't realize my new rig didnt have one. I obey the law and wanted to get it fixed and move on. more

Reno's Rip-Off Garage 6/21/2011

Stay as far away as possible! These guys will steal you blind if given half a chance! They pull vacuum hoses, replace working parts with old used parts, cut fan belts, and use every high pressure technique in the book. They are currently under investigation by the City of Reno and the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles for ripping off customers to the tune of thousands of dollars. Do yourself a favor and take your car to a good garage. You'll be saved lots of money and a huge hassle. more

The worst service in Reno 11/3/2010

I arrived and was never greeted just asked bluntly, ""you here for a diesel smog"", I said yes, he grabbed the registration card out of my hand and walked away. He told me to get my wife out of the car. I guess this was the owner because while my wife and i were sitting in the dirty waiting room he was talking to another employee about taking a fellow employee out back and beating him up. The owner was rude the whole time and even told me not to move my registration card when i went to get it back from the front desk. If you want the worst service in reno and the highest prices go to this place. terrible!!! more

Best Auto Repair in Reno 3/14/2010

They have pride in their work, and they definitely are experts with all areas of auto repair. They treat everyone with respect and courtesy. Pros: honest, fast, excellent work Cons: Hourly labor rate a bit high? more

Nevada Auto Diagnostics is a class act! 7/21/2009

Twice I had to bring my car in for some fairly serious repairs and twice I was greeted in a friendly manner. They took the time to research my problem and, even though I came in close to quitting time, they took my car in and repaired it. They didn't play games. The estimate they gave me was what they charged - in fact it was a bit less. They did not come back and "find other problems." The work was done right the first time.\r I plan using NAD in the future and would recommend them to my best friends. more

Friendly, Honest, Hardworking 7/20/2009

I brought my car in twice. I plan on bringing my car to NAD whenever needed. When other dealers quoted me prices higher than I thought reasonable, NAD did the work for a price I considered FAR more reasonable.
