I went here for a mani/pedi. The manicurist talked me into a set of acrylic nails & I agreed, thinking it'd be fun. Instead she gave me a set of nails that ended up being too thick & had to be removed because I couldn't stand them. (I tried waiting to see if I'd get used to them, but to no avail.) I had them removed at another salon & the first thing they remarked upon was that they were too thick.
The pedi seemed fine, but later I developed athlete's foot & a cuticle infection. I did not have these things beforehand & I did not expose my feet to anything dirty or out of the ordinary. You get this stuff from improperly santitized equipment & pedi basins. I should've been leery when I saw their idea of cleaning was to merely wipe down the basins. You are supposed to scrub the basins & let them soak in cleaning fluid because there are parts that cannot be reached or properly cleaned by wiping them down!
As it stands, I've spent about $20-25 fixing what this place did, not including the amount I'll spend when I go to my doctor to have her drain the pus out of my poor infected cuticles. And that's also not including any medications I may be prescribed.
This place may look clean on the surface, but trust me- they aren't cleaning anything properly.
Pros: None- I'll never go back here
Cons: dirty & unsanitary equipment
