Way too much drama, just to get a massage and facial. Their staff turn over too much! I finally got a good massage therapist, and she left after the first week there... My appointment, TODAY, will be the last. The staff is rude, the prices are too high for the quality of work!!! The staff acts like they are doing you a favor by checking you in.... I have been going to Natural Oasis for several years since moving to Spring Hill. I liked the first couple of stylists I used, but due to high turnover, I finally stopped using their services for hair and have been using them only for facials and brow waxes.\r \r For about he past year, their front desk customer service has been going down hill. I have called several times and been put on hold for 3-5 minutes before hanging up and calling back. Today at four minutes I hung up and called back and complained. The girl on the phone was rude and offered no apology or explaination.\r \r Their level of professionalism is not consistant with the prices.\r \r On one visit I asked about a couple of girls that used to work there that I liked. I was told they were now working at Salon Blonde. I hung up and called Salon Blone for an appointment. Maybe they took all the courteous staff.\r more

This salon and spa is so convenient to my home but with my latest problems here I may have to find a new place. \r Kristen and Tiffany have been doing my hair for over a year now. I've been so happy with the experiences with these two stylists and my hair has never been healthier! I'm pretty frugal when it comes to everything but my hair and have spent more money than I want to acknowledge on my hair. I love the fact that they have been willing to try new styles, colors, etc. with complete success. \r Unfortunately lately I've been more and more disappointed with the customer service at this location. There is a very sweet, attentive, knowledgeable young brown haired woman who normally works the front desk area. When I'm lucky she is there booking my appointment, following up etc. I wish I knew her name b/c she is top notch. Lately though there is another woman that has been helping at the front desk. She is pushy on product sales, overly snobby and slightly silly in conversation. My last visit 2 months ago to the salon I took off work 3 hours early for an appointment to have my highlights touched up before a long trip out of town. I showed up 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. When I told her my name and that I had an appointment with Tiffany she said oooo I'm so sorry I didn't call you but she is out today sick and I didn't want to call you at 8am to let you know...I totally forgot to call you later in the day so sorry. Can't someone else do your hair? I said no not really I don't want to risk it since i'm going out of town. She mentioned another woman in the salon that would be in and could do my hair. I said can you call Tiffany to make sure its okay with her and have her talk to this stylist about the color she does on my hair and the cut. She said sure! I took a seat but never heard her make the call. Reluctantly I went to the other stylist and she was able to do my highlights but I was not comfortable with her cutting it so I said I would wait. I called back again recently only to find out that Tiffany was no longer with this salon I asked if I could get her information so I can find out where she has gone but of course they would not give me that information (understandable as they don't want to lose a customer at their location). **If anyone knows where Tiffany went please let me know. \r I love the location of this salon and will most likely go back here and have always been happy with the stylists here but very hopeful that they will review the customer service at the front desk. \r There is no excuse for not contacting the customer to let them know their scheduled appointment with their stylist needs to be changed or rescheduled. It's unprofessional. more

I've been going to this spa for about 2 years now and I've had my ups and downs. It is so close to my home and I love the Aveda products so this should be a win win for me. The first few times I went to have my hair color/highlights were no problem but when I wanted to switch things up a bit...disaster and my hair actually turned purple...4 hours after I walked in the door I walked out looking great. My nerves however were another story. I was able to find the right stylist here after a few visits and everything went perfectly for a year! A few months ago I noticed the website no longer worked and you cannot view the service menu online. Not a problem they emailed it to me but strange. Then in early October I showed up for my appointment only to find out that the new person working the front desk had "forgotten to call me to tell me the stylist had called in sick". This is after I took off work 3 hours early to get an appointment on a Friday before leaving to go out of town for a week. They put me with another woman and I asked just for color not a cut as she had not cut my hair before I didn't want to risk it. Now I'm finding out that she left the salon. Just very frustrating not sure if I will return I hope things change more

I went to Natural Oasis for a deep tissue massage and it was the best I have ever had! Julie was my therapist and knew exactly what I needed. I have lower back problems and Julie has helped me so much it is unbelievable. I have received many massages in my life but no other compares to hers. I highly recommend that you check it out for yourself! more

After working in this industry, I became very picky as to who does my hair, nails, massages, etc. However, Natural Oasis has well exceeded my expectations. I have been going to Natural Oasis for over a year now, and I have NEVER been disappointed. Everyone is always super nice, the establishment is clean, and very pretty. The staff is very professional both in person, and over the phone. Caroline is my hairstylist, and I have to say, she's the best I've ever had! I cannot rave over this place enough! Definitely visit and see for yourself. You will NOT be disappointed :) more

I hate having my hair done, more than having my teeth cleaned. Because when you have your teeth cleaned you don't have to stare at yourself in the mirror the whole time and make phony small talk with a snooty hair stylist because your mouth is stuffed with dental tools. Here my stylist was OK friendly but jittery, the job he did on my hair was OK for a day then fell apart. The young receptionist was not friendly, and they all looked at me like I was a freak. Another lady customer just stared at me with an ugly scowl on her face as if I shouldn't be in there. I was made to feel REALLY really uncomfortable. I had finally found a place in Belle Meade where they were nice to me, and that place closed. So on my 30-year search for the warm and friendly salon continues. My stylist Michelle is awesome!! She always does a great job on my hair and goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction! I usually come first thing in the morning and dont give myself time to stop for breakfast. She offered to call an order for coffee and a muffin or whatever I wanted from any of the restaurants around and would go pick it up for me or have another available staff run to get it for me. The staff have also run to coldstone creanery to get me icecream. Thats another great thing about this salon, the location. So many great restaurants and shopping stores in walking distance. \r Also, I waited until the last minute this last time, to make a coloring appt and Michelle was going to be off when I needed it done. I was so dissappointed b/c I was going out for my birthday and needed my hair done. Michelle rearranged her day off to be able to come in to color my hair for my birthday celebration. I did like this spa a lot more until my massage appointments with Sheryl were canceled twice, once less than an hour before and I was already on my way. I've also overheard the staff complaining about their own managers while I waited in the lobby once. This is just unprofessional. I have been in many high end salons over the past fourteen years. Many of which have been in southern California. In my opinion this salon is perfect! You have the wonderful southern hospitality that you don't get on the west coast that meets with a high end experience. It doesn't get better than that. I believe the prices are reasonable for what you are getting. I think you get a lot more then what you pay for. I don't understand all the negative reviews of this place. I have been going to Natural Oasis (mostly the down town one) for about a year and I have seen nothing to warrant these negative reviews. \r BTW- my stylist Michelle is wonderful! She is the only one so far of the many stylist i have been to who can cut my hair exactly the way I want it. She is very good at understanding my needs with out me knowing all the ""hair lingo"". She goes above and beyond to make your experience relaxing. more

I received the most relaxing facial from TRACI last week and my skin still looks terrific. Traci gives one of the best and reasonably priced facials in Hendersonville. I've lived in Hendersonville for the past 4years and have had a heck of a time finding a colorist. I have had some awful experiences until now. Kristen is fabulous and I am thankful I found her. My husband and I moved to Hendersonville from Knoxville about two months ago. We have been looking for Aveda salon online and came across Natural Oasis Day Spa and Salon. We were very shocked that the salon was minutes fom our house. I make appointments for both of us on different days. My appointment was with Kristen during the week, and my husband's was on sat. with Tiffany. Natural Oasis has a wonderful friendly staff. I love Aveda products, and visiting this salon/spa is a pleasure. Tracy is a fantastic esthetician, and has worked miracles for me. My husband sees Kristin for his hair. He is extremely picky, and has always been happy after an appointment with her. I can also recommend Jessica or Russel for women's hair. I have recently had a massive hair disaster @ another salon(will not name) The stylist at this salon over processed my hair. Then try to fix my hair by coloring it BLACK(I didn't want black hair, nor do I ever want to have black hair) To make a long story short; my hair was breking off and looking horrible. A friend recommends Kristen at Narural Oasis in Hendersonville. I call that day and she squeezed me in. Kristen listen to what I wanted and showed me her portfolio of colors and cuts. I pointed out the ones I like, and she gave me her thoughts and suggestions / a few highlights, color gloss, conditioning treatments and cuts. I have been driving to Green Hills for years to get my hair cut and color. Last week I was shopping at the streets of indian lake and saw Natural Oasis Day Spa & Salon. I love Aveda products. I walk in and made appoiotment. The girl at the front welcome me with a warm hello. She made my appointment and offered me a hand treatment that made my hands feel so soft. \r I have to say that Kristen has been the only person able to make my hair color look so natural; as for the cut...
