Nationwide gave me a flat rate price which they honored. They were prompt and courteous. My goods arrived undamaged and all intact. I've delt with other moving companies who scamm...

Worst

We hired this company to move our entire house. On the phone, the price was $827, but the final bill was $1358.

When looking for a moving company that's what you want, no surprises. And that's exactly what Nationwide was. They were VERY professional. They gave me a complete, and very competitive, WRITTEN ESTIMATE. Then the best part came: they delivered BEYOND what we expected in our move. In the last minute things that one forgets when packing an moving to another state they were understanding, helpful, and just plain nice folks. And did I mention they were QUICK. more

I was in need of a moving company to relocate from Maryland to Florida. After receiving estimates from several companies, I decided to go with Nationwide Van Lines. The consultant treated me with respect and provided me with very helpful hints regarding the move. I was notified by the movers with their estimated time of arrival when they were in MD. My items were wrapped, packed and loaded in a reasonalbe time with no damaged, I was very pleased with the entire process. Thanks Nationwide Van Lines for a strss free move. RB Harrell more

Premium price with poor quality services 9/13/2011

i did some research and after checking online chose nationwide van lines. i thought for the big price id get premium movers but i was very mistaken. turns out that about 40% of my things were messed up due to bad or missing packaging. i have to file a claim to hopefully get some damages for what was messed up. more

We recently moved to FL and Nationwide did a great job from quote, packing to delivery everyone was professional and did a wonderful job for us. They were efficient and both the staff in RI and staff unpacking in FL were great. Nice, friendly, efficient and professional. Thank you for helping to make the move easier for us!! more

Didnt like Nationwide Van Lines 9/7/2011

Nationwide Van Lines moved me and my family and I did not like what servicee i got. The workers made a mess and did not do a nice job with our possessions. They were rough with things. They also made our former neighbors complain because they made a ruckus. more

Slow movers!!!!!!!!! 9/6/2011

Even though they say "up to 21 days" beforehand, this is not a reasonable amount of time to move between 2 east coast states. One can drive the entire seaboard in 36 hours...why on earth does it takes up to 21 days to deliver a move? more

Bad company, scary movers 9/6/2011

I was somewhat leary about using this company. I found both pro and con's online about their reputation. The woman on the phone sold us when she promised we would be satisfied, however we were truly unhappy with the service we got. One major problem is that many of our pieces of furniture were damaged. There were lots of scratches and dings on everything. Also, some items were missing. I have a fragrance collection of over 100 bottles (a collector in a way!) and about 20 were missing when we unpacked everything. I have a feeling they were taken. The movers were also very creepy. I will not use this company again and wont tell anyone I know to use them. more

Professional is an understatement 9/1/2011

I had a pleasant experience with nationwide, my mom had recently passed and I was moving furniture from New York to Florida. They treated me like royalty from the first moment I called them to assisting me with placing the furniture in my storage unit. The customer service staff is very knowledgeable, professional and understanding. What I like most about this company was the fact that there were no hidden fees. Whatever was quoted was the price and it never changed. I will be using them whenever I have to move and I recommend you do the same. more

Highly recommended moving service in US 8/31/2011

I got outstanding service from Nationwide Van Lines when I moved from New Hapshire to Georgia. Moving more than 1300 mile was very stressful for me due to several reasons. Fortunetely I choosed the Nationwide Van lines which provided excellent service from loading to delivering the stuff to my home. According to their consultation I could save more money and time. Drivers, workers, sales representatives, dispatch department and customer service were really helpful during this moving. I received my stuff withing 5 days in good condition. I highly recomended this moving service to anyone who really need the satifactory service. more

Great Movers 8/31/2011

On a move from Virginia to South Florida, and on a limited budget, I called multiple movers. Nationwide came in as one of the least expensive. I could have went with someone even cheaper, but the customer support representative was very knowledgeable and personable. He talked me through several options, offered full packing services if I wanted it, and worked with me constantly until we got a firm date for the move. When the movers arrived, they were easy to get along with, professional and efficient. My move ended up being a little more expensive than quoted, but that was me underestimating how much stuff I had. Everything arrived in Florida undamaged, and again, the movers were professional and efficient. Top notch service, and I would recommend them to anyone. more

Reliable Moving Service 8/28/2011

I was in need of a moving service to transport items from a storage facility in VA to my apartment in NYC. I called several companies including Nationwide Van Lines. Nationwide's bid was in line with the other companies. Why did I go with this company? I felt comfortable talking with the moving consultant, the price was middle of the road, the consultant gave me tips to consider with pricing when contacting other companies, and they had availability. more

Job Relocation 8/28/2011

I had to move from New York to Virginia. I had about a week until I started work. I was extremely stressed out. I had been sick the entire week prior so I was losing time. I had a very limited time to find an apartment and book movers. I was doing most of this while I was bedridden. When the movers arrived my stress level was extremely high. They were very tolerant of me. I know I wasn't the easiest customer to get along with that day. Regardless the movers stayed patient, upbeat, and professional. I think this says a lot. I even had to call the central office and they had to listen to my tirade. The young woman on the phone stayed calm and professional as well. Thank you Nationwide Van Lines. I would certainly use your services in the future. more

You Get What you pay for! 8/26/2011

It was a very very hot day in Orlando Fl. The price was slightly higher than quoted but they got the job done! Very meticulous workers and excellent driver! Its interesting to see how they loaded and unloaded the truck without becoming a hindrance to others. more

Best Movers 8/18/2011

I used their services a year ago when I moved to ny. I was very worried at first because their RATES WERE VERY CHEAP!! And trust me I did a lot of research. The movers who pick up my furniture and the ones who dropped off my furniture were extremely professional and respectful. I also recommended two other colleagues at work and they too were very happy with their services. I had an issue with the payment method the customer service rep was very helpfully. So overall this definitely is a very good company to do business with. more

Best Mover's around!!! 8/15/2011

The service was outstanding.Our customer representative was extremely helpful and guided us through the entire process. The furniture and LARGE screen tv's were wrapped very well and fragile items packed with care. The crew worked long into the evening to finish the job, carrying large pieces of furniture down steps and onto that truck with ease. The delivery went equally as well. The furniture was unloaded, put together and placed in the correct rooms. The drivers and workers on both ends of the move were curteous and professional. The price was reasonable. Great Job!!! Highly Recommend nationwide!!! more

2nd move better than first 8/15/2011

We moved to Florida from MA in 2010 and when we got to FL it took close to 3 weeks to get our things. Very very tough for us. But we moved back to NH the following year and got our stuff within 3 days !! So all went well. more
