National Hills Animal Hospital

by AmyK\r 01/11/2012\r \r We love this place!\r National Hills "vet" (as they sometimes answer the phone) is the BEST, most caring, most knowledgeable animal hospital in the CSRA. We lived near there for years, so of course we used them for convenience. Later we moved out to Evans and switched to a different vet. We did not receive the same sense that they truly cared about our animals..only the BILL! We tried a few other Vets, but in the end came back to the WONDERFUL doctors (I especially like Dr. Slonina) at Nat. Hills. We will drive the extra mile(s) because they always "go the extra mile" for our animals!\r In fact, when we lived near-by, we had one dog that would get loose a lot. When ever he was missing, we knew where he was...He would be up at National Hills Animal Hospital for a visit!!--Now, if that doesn't prove that they are great people, I don't know what possibly could!\r Try them!...Anne is the receptionist-She has been there for at least 20 years. I have used them for 2 years, and it is a pleasure to go there! There is never a wait and you can usually even get an appointment same day. There is a dog entrance and a cat entrance so you don't have to worry about fights. The vet I usually work with really loves animals. She talked my cats through everything she did, really for my benefit, and the cats responded to her tone. I also showed up with a broken carrier, and when I came for my most recent appointment, one of my cats broke through it and ran into their back rooms. Not only did the vet get everyone to look, she even let me come back as well. The vet then rigged a solution for my carrier using medical tape. It was so nice of her. The rest of the staff is always friendly. Great place to take your pets! more
