If you are driving I-696 you can see the National Coney Island sign towering
way above the expressway. Just get off the Gratiot exit. This coney is on the
west side of Gratiot and Eleven Mile Road. Its a good size restaurant with multifple booths which are rarely empty. The food is great for a minimal fee and
they give you quite a bit. You will never leave hungry. You can call ahead also
and get a carry out.
