Great Depiction of Our History 11/5/2005

The National Civil War Museum is the first to equally portray both sides of the American Civil War. The depiction is balances and provides a humanistic presentation of what occured during the war. The museum is open daily and should be visited by anyone who is visiting the historic Gettysburg Battleground. The admission price is approximately $7.00 so very reasonable. more

very nice building 8/23/2005

The National Civil War Museum is a very beautiful building. It sits back against beautiful scenery and is on a hill overlooking the city. The grounds and sculptures are gorgeous as well. The museum is pretty nice. I think they could have more things to look at and less huge descriptions of what everything is. Most people want to browse through and not spend hours reading long descriptions. You can have a wedding and reception there as well. They have a nice room for receptions and a great spot to be married at. It is very expensive to rent the room though. more
