Nana's House Child Care Ctr

Hello fellow parents,\r \r My son has been attending Nana's House for approximately 6 weeks. \r \r The building and outdoor space is lovely. \r \r The classrooms are set up with age appropriate learning centers and the environment is print rich.\r \r I am currently pursing a Masters in Early Childhood Ed. / Early Childhood Special Ed. and the classrooms are everything a prospective teacher could hope for!\r \r It was my understanding that Nana's House had not had a great reputation, so I was concerned when I learned that Nana's house was the closest Day Care to my job. \r \r Upon further investigation I found that the Driector was new (9/2011) and held a Doctorate in Early Childhood Ed., and I was encouraged by this. \r \r I scheduled a meeting with Dr. Hall and found her to be very reasonable and easy to relate to. All of my initial / personal concerns were addressed satisfactorily. Once my son began attending, I had a few concerns with the tone of his classroom, so I spoke with Dr Hall and she handled the situation. It seems that under her supervision, the school environment is run smoothly and the Teachers follow her directives.\r \r I am currently a satisfied parent. more

Listen parents, this day care has beautiful grounds and a lovely layout but the staff and director, Susan were what turned me away. My son came home with dried up snot on his face, a witnessed a teacher being very mean to a 2 yr old. replace some of the teachers and definately the director! Pros: close to my home Cons: disappointed in staff and professionalism more
