High-End Vinatge for a High-End Price 8/15/2005

Probably the best high-end vintage shop I've been to in DC, Nana is located in the up and coming U Street section of the city. Everything in the store is nicely sorted, arranged, and care for, and it's a great spot to find some one-of-a-kind items, for a price. Also, due to its neighborhood, it tends to attract a much more diverse clientèle than similar stores in the Georgetown and Dupont circle neighborhoods. more

Funky Vingage 8/15/2005

The U Street corridor has been booming in the last few years and Nana was one of the earlier arrivals. This clothing store features vingage duds, dresses and shoes. The clothing is in good shape, but expect to pay a premium for the advantage of not having to root through bins. Then again, the prices are very reasonable compared with new merchandise. This is a fun neighborhood to shop in and Nana's is a good place to visit. more
