First of all, let me be clear that my displeasure is NOT aimed at my stylist Danna; she is wonderful. I have been a customer for several years, happily paying full-price on all services, referring customers, and telling anyone who complimented my style or color that they should try Nuovo. Today, as I was paying, I handed the cashier a coupon for a $20 discount good for a service I had not received in 6 months. First she tried to tell me that I couldn't use it then, when I pointed out I hadn't had a cut in just over 6 months, I got a sneering response that I had "managed to just squeak in". This, coupled with the combative attitude I had to deal with when I called several months ago explaining that I was out of town for an extended period and asking if I might have a copy of my color formula to give to another Aveda salon, is enough. There are plenty of hair salons in Sarasota that will treat their customers politely. Honestly, one $20 discount in over six years and that's the snarky attitude?
