I recently went into NTB this last Sunday to get oil change with coupon for 19.95 that i found on internet. I also wanted to get some one to look at my car regarding check engine light that came on the night before.\r
when i arrived in the store at 11690 Forest central drive Dallas Texas 75243, I was helped by Austin heath. I told him that i wanted oil change and that i was concerned about check engine light that came on the night before. Austin informed me that it would cost $110 to check engine for any problems and that he would also do oil change. When Austin informed me that my service was completed he also informed me that Catalytic convertor was bad and need to be replaced at $899.00 and was only a matter of time before it went out. He also informed there would be also charges of HR exhaust system labor 02 sensor at $165.93.\r

I informed Austin that i did not have money to take on such repairs and informed me that i would be charged $110, but that would go towards my bill if i decided to come back to NTB for above repairs. Austin did give me $30 dollar discount .\r

I took my car to another mechanic and was told that what caused the check engine light was bad gas, water in gas , and was told to get gas additive to solve problem.\r
AKA (buying gas at old gas stations that underground pipes have leek's where water seeps in when it rains.)\r
causes check engine light to come on until gas passes threw.\r

I did as mechanic suggested and sure enough light went off.\r

I was charged $110 dollar for oil change, if they even gave me a oil change!\r
