Wedding and special occasion shoes 3/28/2006

If you need something beautiful and special, this is a great place to go. Unfortunately, you have to be prepared to pay for it heavily, but they have a fantastic selection. The staff is hit or miss, some are really attentive and some are not. They specialize in wedding shoes and if you are looking for the perfect shoes for whatever dress you have, you are almost sure to find it in this Alexandria store. more

Expensive Shoes, but Go For the Accessories 3/21/2006

My bridesmaid took me here for shoe shopping and I was horrified at the prices. Yes it was fun to see the variety, but I would not call the store shoe selection affordable. The best values were the accessories such as shoe inserts to pad the ball of your foot or prevent rubbing on your heel. They had shoe cleaners and things to attach to the bottom of your shoes to prevent slipping and sliding. They also carried some great undergarments that were like body huggers for shaping. I think My Glass Slipper has become a traditional stop in the region when wedding planning, but you might want to bypass the shoes and go for the more innovative extras. more

Beautiful Shoes, Very Expensive 12/21/2005

My Glass Slipper has a great range and selection of bridal shoes. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the prices are very expensive. This is somewhat expected of wedding items, however, so if you are looking for gorgeous wedding shoes and have the ability to afford them, I recommend this store. more
