James Borden of Musicians Unlimited was unprofessional, lacked integrity and lacked organizational skills in representing The Sevilles for booking. We were working with James Borden over a two week period of time with three phone calls and written correspondence as well as receiving a DVD of the band since his website was nonfunctional for viewing The Sevilles and he did nothing to correct the website despite being informed that his client's The Sevilles could not be viewed from his website. His written correspondences to us stated the date of our daughter's wedding (which is to occur one year and 2 months from the date we contacted him) and he added an exclamation after their wedding date acknowledging he knew the date we were very interested in. He sent us the DVD and on the day we received the DVD unknown to us he books the band for the date we wanted without ever contacting us to let us have the opportunity to book or to even have the consideration to tell us he booked the band from under us so that we and the engaged couple would not be viewing the demo DVD thinking we could have the band at their very special wedding. We only found out he booked the date for someone else after we called to book the band 3 days after viewing the demo. He proceeded to book the band for that very date a day after sending the DVD without any attempt to contact us regarding our interest and to let us know that we would have to book immediately or lose the date. This has been a very disappointing experience and his representation of The Sevilles has been extremely poor. I have a background in the entertainment industry and would not recommend him as a booking agency for private individuals, companies or talent.
