Been a patron there for the past 6 years. This sums up my experience for my 3 kids: Our Piano teacher would sometimes miss lessons and when they tracked him down the response would be I guess Paul, the owner, forgot to tell you. This happened twice in the span of a year. Sure they offer a make-up on a time that works for them; but the second time I asked for a refund and Paul, the owner, obliged. My daughter did flute until the instructor could not make a few lessons and even though we had a certain time slot at MZ that the instructor committed to he booked it with another student at another offsite location. The owners response to this debacle was that it is out of his control. Finally after 6 years of lessons the owner and instructor said it was ok to take a few months off so as not to conflict with middle school sports and that we could continue with the Saturday group lessons. Needless to say we got a call from Jim, the instructor, a few days later, hating to be the bearer of bad news, saying that they have a new policy and unless you do the lessons you are out of the group - even though the lessons were guitar and the group band was drums. Keep in mind my son was with Jim for 6 years. Makes you wonder about the value of years of friendship, patronage, loyalty or the MZ quest for $. Be prepared.
