Mt. Vernon Apartments

Manager very quick to approve move-in, but just prior to move-in, we discovered through another tenant that this place has bed bugs! This was not disclosed and various tenants confirmed bed bug infestation that apparently is not being addressed. We did not move in (thank goodness) and now mgmt refuses to return deposit although we did not sign a rental agreement as yet. We noticed dumpsters full of furniture, and this is probably why. Bedbugs invade everything a person owns and are a health hazard. These people will be reported to the Oklahoma County Health Department, as well as all other authorities and media if our deposit is not returned promptly. At the very least, the presence of bed bugs should be disclosed to prospective tenants and not denied. The public needs to know. DO NOT rent at this place where they deny even having bed bugs!!!\r \r more

I would not recommend renting a place here. They are noisy. You pay extra for covered parking only to find someone in your spot without a decal. When you enter the building it reeks of old garbage, marijuana, and pets. The apartments are freezing in the winter and hot in the summer. The manager is very unprofessional and they do not answer work orders. They are in good neighborhood with many other apartments to choose from. more
