If I could give ""0"" stars I would. I am in a battle with Moxie right now over canceling my service I signed up for. When the nice young salesman came to my door and offered me a ""great deal"" on my spider problem I was assured I could ""cancel anytime if I'm not satisfied"" little did I know that there was a $129.00 cancelation fee...that he failed to mention. I payed for a $40 initial service, then they were going to follow up with another treatment 2 weeks later. He promised to protect my 2 and 3 year old from the blackwidows that had started to make their debut in my home recently by spraying his ""magic"" spray that all insects dare not cross. Sounded good. Ya....so I've come to realize that there is no such thing. Most spiders are destroyed by ""direct contact"" only. I have seen a rise in spider and ant activity and was about to call them to come back out and low and behold....they had been there while I went to run errands! I got a really nice bill for $79 on my door for a service that had not been done. He drove out to give me a bill, but not to spray again. I know this because they are supposed to spray my backyard, front yard and garage. if he did service my house he must be Hudinni because my garage was locked and so was my fence to the backyard with my 2 dogs. So when I called to cancel they told me that the technician came out and indeed did not spray, but I had to pay the $79 anyway. I said ""I don't think so, I'm not paying for a service that was not done properly or at all!"" She laughed and said "" yes you are."" This arguement went on for an hour. I demanded to speak with a supervisor and have yet to hear back from them. This was of course after I tried to contact them for three days with no answer. So....that is the tip of my iceburg with Moxie. Their customer service is the worst I have EVER experienced with ANY service I have ever had! DO NOT GO WITH MOXIE...Western is much better, nicer and cheaper. Look up Moxie complaints on the web...interesting! Cons: Hard to contact, rude, inexperienced, crooks! more

With no other pest control reviews in the area! Every single review is done by a user that only did ONE review and gave 5 stars??? Seems very suspect, hence, more then likely writing their own review. I agree with the 1st poster not to use them just cause they seem to be tooting their own horn....tisc tisc more

I have had Moxie for several years. I have really liked my technicians and had zero problems. They are very professional and seem to know their stuff. I would recommend them to my neighbors and friends. Pros: great technicians, great people skills more

I've had Moxie's service for 3 years now and have recieved great service. My technician is very friendly and I really like having a service that does what they say they are going to do. Do not use this company. This company is focused only on making money. They take advantage of their young salesmen and women, and do not fulfill their promises. Moxie's young sales people spend entire summers selling for this company, hoping to raise money for college, religious missions, new homes and future babies. The owner promises them everything to recruit them, but in reality the owner does not pay them what he promises. He is a man of no ethics and no heart. He cares only of money. Do not purchase this product; instead go to Home Depot and spend $10 and do it yourself. Cons: no ethics. this company is misleading and dishonest. more
