Excellent experience, movers were professional and courteous. 8/23/2010

They seemed to be the most helpful and willing to work with me. I recently had a medical issue and they were very polite and helpful. I was broken but not them. They did a great job. That's the first time I've not even had a glass broken along the way. They were very quick, they did not mess around or slack off at all, and were very professional. Compared to other experiences with movers, this one was very good. They did a good job. I was very pleased with what they did and I would recommend them in the future. more

We enjoyed working with Moving by Design. 8/20/2010

Moving by Design did a really great job. They showed up on time to move us into storage, and showed up on time to move us into our house. They met my husband and worked hard non-stop through the day. They had two trucks and got the house set up. My husband even bought lunch for the guys because he felt they were doing such a good job. He was very happy with them. We talked and joked with them the whole day. They were very good and very considerate of all the belongings and the house. They never once bumped a wall or door frame in the house. It is a brand new house, so that was important. The workers were professional. We definitely enjoyed working with them. more

The movers, from Moving by Design, were polite, courteous, and professional. They did a good job. They actually did the job sooner than the time Tim estimated, so it was less money than estimated. It was a good experience all the way around. more

I have a good working relationship with them. 5/25/2010

I have used Moving by Design 4 or 5 times now. I have done a series of moves for myself and for my kids going to college. It has also been a variety of types of moves. Moving by Design has always been easy to schedule, and I have a good working relationship with them. I know they are dependable. I always go to them because they have helped me in my multiple moves and are familiar to me. They have never broken anything and are always careful. I'm a slight bit on the protective side because the furniture I own has a lot of sentimental value and I care about it. They don't mind when I ask them to be careful, and are easy to get along with. Nothing has been injured at all. more

You can't go wrong with Moving by Design. 4/27/2010

When I used Moving by Design recently Tim came and went over the house with me. He completely explained the services and gave me an estimate for the job. I thought that was very professional and helpful. The movers were the same way. They went through the house with me and were thorough and efficient in their work. They even told me when they were going to take their lunch time, so that I would not worry about being billed for it. They were very good with communication and the service was also timely. I was especially impressed because they shrink wrapped my furniture to protect it. I have never had anyone do this before and thought it was great. They even put padding on my railings so that my belongings wouldn't be dented or damaged. Moving by Design is extremely reasonable in price for the quality of service. I was expecting it to be 2 or 3 times more expensive and was very happy with the price. J. Kibbe more

Very courteous, prompt, helpful, and reasonably priced. 4/19/2010

I have used Moving by Design twice for small residential moves. I initially found them on the Internet and they were available when I needed them, which was why I decided to use them. They have been willing and helpful, willing to work with us on custom jobs. They also are very affordable and prompt. I have had some not-so-great experiences with other moving companies in the past. I would recommend Moving by Design because they are very trustworthy. more

My experience with Tim Gray & employees from time of estimate to completion was excellent. They moved us from Friendswood to the Austin area with no problem at all. I certainly would recommend them for any move. more

Moving By Design: Friendly, Considerate, Professional 3/25/2010

We found Tim and Moving By Design by an online search over a year ago, and we wonâ??t need to go searching for another mover, ever. It was our experience that Timâ??s dollar quotes were so inline with our tight budget that we couldnâ??t help but retain his services. MBD first moved the household from a North Texas residence into Friendswood, and then a subsequent local relocation a few months later. The move team was punctual, protective of furniture and walls, friendly, and they didnâ??t lollygag. MBD gives Friendly, Considerate, and Professional quality service, and all of our friends know it. Perfect move, nothing broken. 3/18/2010

I found Moving by Design in a magazine. Tim was great when he came to do the estimate, which is why I decided to use them. Moving by Design was great during the move as well, very personable and easy to work with. They were on time and willing to go wherever I needed them to go. For example, even though I had some extra things that I did not know I was going to have to move, they were willing to move those for me. Everything turned out perfectly and not one thing was broken. more

Our experience with Moving by Design was very good. They are affiliated with the Better Business Bureau, which was one of the reasons we decided to use them. They moved us from one house to another and they were very professional and knowledgeable on how to move furniture. Moving by Design can handle any type of move, furniture, and boxes. They take all the precautions to ensure that none of your furniture gets damaged. They are a good company to work with. more

Very reliable, great price, and good workers. 1/22/2010

I initially saw their ad in a mailer and decided to use Moving by Design. It turned out that I knew one of the owners. Having moved 8 times in 8 years, I have used every moving company around, and my experience with Moving by Design was excellent because of their cost, reliability, and good workers. I have used Moving by Design twice now to move homes that were over 4,000-square-feet and everything has worked out well. The crew a with Moving By Design was great. They moved us on Thanksgiving weekend and were quick and professional. Not a thing was broken. They even unloaded a rental truck for me that I had rented on my own. Definitely recommend!! more

Reasonable price and good people to work with. 1/12/2010

I found Moving by Design on the Internet and called 3 different companies to get estimates. Moving by Design had the best deal for us, which is why we decided to use them. We hired them to move furniture around out house, between the downstairs and upstairs. Their price was reasonable, they showed up on time, did the job well, and did not damage anything. They were good people to work with. more

Moving by Design was recommended by a friend and I was very pleased with their service. They called to verify what time they would arrive and they showed up when they said they would. They were very professional in handling our stuff. We had to have them back 3 times for our particular move and, each time, they were very courteous and helpful. They care about customer satisfaction 12/23/2009

By chance, we found them in a coupon book. Unlike other moving companies, they were willing to come out to our home and give us an estimate. We knew at most how much the move would cost before the work even began. There were no last-minute labor costs or extra time costs on the move day. In fact, the final cost was 30% lower than the quote and 1 less hour than predicted. As for the moving experience, the guys really worked! Extreme care was given to all pieces, including the electronics, piano, organ, and glass table top. Very helpful movers - they wanted to do a good job. Thank you for a stress-free moving day! :) more

I used Moving by Design to move a college-age son out of a house in San Marcos, back to the Houston area. Tim took care of planning everything. The movers arrived in a timely fasion on the day of the move, got everything loaded up efficiently, drove back, and got everything unloaded and properly placed. Everything was done in a very professional manner. more

Good folllow up after moving 12/13/2009

A good moving company that goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. There were a few items that were damaged as a result and the owner went above and beyond to make sure they were fixed to our satisfaction and even ordered parts for us. more
