Movie Tavern 12 Mill Run

My Husband and I usually go here for our date nights because we aren't gone long and don't have to pay a babysitter too long. The first time we came together we had fabulous service. We were really impressed and couldn't wait to come back. We did go back about a few weeks later and we had horrible service. We watched everyone around us order drinks and food and get the drinks and even some of them their food before we even recieved our drinks! We thought it was just a fluke and still raved about it to our friends and had invited them to come with us a month later. Well lets just say our friends will not be back. Our service was horrible once again. We recieved our food about 20 minutes before our friends did and when we ordered popcorn they wouldn't give us anything to share it with. Going there is a convenience factor for us, but we won't reccomend it anymore. Also we will not eat dinner either because they have a hard time serving us the proper way. I bought my tickets for Harry Potter well in advance for this theater I arrived there at about 9pm (the movie premiered at midnight), sat don with my friends got a beer, at the bottom of my cup was a bunch of things floating around. CBS 10 was there to interview HP fans, so they made us wait to get seated. They did not start seating the sold out theatres until 11:30pm. My friends and I were in the front of the line and were among the first to be seated. We ordered food and waited. A half an hour after the movie was slated to begin they tell us that they are still piecing together the film. At 1am they tell us that they were trying a new technology were they could play one film on two screens and it wasn't working, it only worked in the theatre across from us. Then informed us that we couldn't watch the movie because the other 4 theatres had been playing the film for an hour and the theatre across from us no longer had any seats. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. This was a world premier movie that the entire audience had been waiting to see and wanted to see it so bad that we went to a midnight showing! I was disappointed, but the children were in tears as their parents tried to explain to them that they weren't getting to see the movie. Pros: fairly decent priced beer, Cons: everything else. more

The seating is awesome! Except when u are down front, then the seats kinda roll u into the tables, and that is hard to hold urself back for the length of a movie. The food quality is less than average. i was really disappointed. We have been there a few times trying different items on the menu, and we still have yet to find a good item that is edible. Drink prices are really expensive, too. Good to see a movie, but they need to rethink the pricing and food quality. Pros: Good movies, nice location Cons: Poor food quality, high prices. more

We go here all the time. The seats are comfortable, the food is great. It is our favorite place to see movies. If you haven't been here, you are really missing out on a good thing! Pros: confortable seats, great movie selection, great food, good prices more

I went to this movie theatre. and they sucked. i walked in, and they wouldn't give me my ticket because they never informed anyone that a twenty year old needed an id to get in to a PG THIRTEEN MOVIE.\r \r I'm only mad, because I live twnty five minutes away from this theatre, and im disabled.\r \r you ruined my whole month.\r \r Im never going there again. I advise everyone else not to go either. more

Went there the ther night to see iron man and had a blast. Fun and friendly environmet! We had some server named courtney or corey dont know but she was great! It was a little hot though in our theater but the movie was awesome and we will for be back! more

I went there expecting a fun time! But when i went in i noticed a really bad smell. Then i looked at the ceilings and saw mold growing. My friend and I decided to leave, on a good not< they did refund our money. more

I AM A HUGE FAN THE ATMOSPHERE IS FABOULUS!!! SERVICE IS VERIED AT TIMES.THIS PLACE HAS IMPROVED BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS AS I HAVE ENJOYED SEVERAL OUTINGS THERE. THE FOOD HAS IMPROVED GREATLY!!! My husband and I went for the first time last week and we loved it! Loved the food, loved everything. I would highly recommend it to others. They had the best wings and great customer service. We're actually going back tonight! more

The concept is great, seating is great, clean, great servers, but food is barely edible. I love the upbeat feel from the servers, but unimpressed by the food. Also, I've been there a number of times and there is a missing soap dispenser in the ladies room. I have even asked the manager to replace the soap dispenser in the ladies room, but to no avail. There are about 4 sinks, and one soap dispenser. If they would just improve the food quality... If they got the food quality up to par, it would be a 5 star for me. Decided to try this place since we had one of those buy one entree get one free coupons. Even though the coupon clearly states ?valid anytime?, we were told that it was not valid on Fridays. The food at this place was low quality and overpriced. I recently went to an afternoon movie with my Mother and my 2 young children for my Mother's birthday. The theater was clean and nice, but the food was not fresh at all. The problem is that you can not see the food you are eating, so you can only hope that it is fresh. My mother got very sick during the movie, so we left the movie early. We boxed the remainder of the food and took with us. Within an hour of getting home I also got quite sick. I thought to look in the boxed food and found the meat that was on the ""full monte frisco"" sandwich to be green! There was no way to see this in the theater. Upon calling and speaking with a ""manager"" (who seemed uninterested) I was told that ""nothing should make anyone sick for at least 36 hours"" I found that an interesting response to being told that 2 people had gotten very sick and had green meat in their sandwich. I recently stumbled across this movie theater, searching for something like it in our area. Just recently moving to the Columbus, OH area, my wife and I are still trying to get to know suggestions for our occasional date night. For us, (and many couples that we know) this was a God send! Too many times we have gone out to dinner, and then tried to rush to the theater and see a movie that we weren't sure when it was playing, and didn't know if we would make it back home in time to still have a babysitter! So, as a whole, we love the idea of being able to get good quality food and see a first release movie without having to worry about not having enough time.\r \r Pros: ***Time saver for Parents***\r ***New Movies***\r ***Decent Food, high selection***\r ***Comparable cost to Applebees, TGIF, and Chilis***\r ***Theater tickets cheap ** (less then 10 a person)\r \r Cons: **Service alittle slow, but that's the point***\r ***Ummm...hmmmm.. tables a little akward if you are not use to them****\r ***if you make out, you could get ketchup on you*** =)\r \r All in all, I would certainly recommend (and have many times) this new place to my friends.
