I would highly recommend Best Movers DC. They were professional, kind and courteous. They took care of our belongings. They made sure everything was accounted for. I really liked how they checked the items, that’s great. They came in and used runner carpets to make sure nothing get damaged. They clean up after themselves. It was a new experience for me. The crew arrived on time, everything proceeded smoothly. In terms of getting the goods we both met here in Vancouver. This move was to a condo building so they had very specific rules to adhere to but we worked together to adhere to them. I used DC Best Movers to help move my furniture from my house into a storage container. My customer service worker was upfront, followed up with our conversations, and was not pushy. Best Movers DC told me about everything up front. I was a little upset that they showed up to my apartment 2 hours earlier than they told me they would, but I guess when it's all said and done it was a good move. Nothing was broken, the guys were nice, and the price actually came in about $35 less than what I was told it should be. I have used Best Movers DC twice and also recommended them for my brother's move last week. In all three instances; their movers were prompt, effecient and hard working. I was promised three men for each job, and actually had four for one without incurring any additional charges. They also completed my move from the southwest suburbs into a 3 story row home in the city in approximately 5 hours...and that is including the driving time!!! Nothing was damaged, not even a nick or a scrape, and all boxes were put into the appropriate rooms. They even offered to set up my bed, something I would have had to do on my own. Let's start with a well-known truth: moving sucks. When my husband and I began planning our Miami/DC move, we looked up movers on Judysbook, narrowed it down to a list of three highly rated movers, and had all three come to give us an estimate on our move. Truth be told, Best Movers DC wasn't the cheapest, but from the very first moment we talked to them, we had a sense that they were very organized, very honest, and very reliable. The estimator came to our house on time (unlike other movers) and provided a comprehensive (and accurate) estimate. The morning of the move, four movers showed up right on time, and within three hours, our condo was empty. They were unbelievably careful with our fragile items (mirrors, antique dresser, etc). and also just great guys- sweet, friendly, and kind. When they arrived in DC a few days later, the crew was amazing - in two hours, our apartment was unpacked. All of our stuff arrived exactly it was packed - not a single scratch, dent, or break - and the movers quickly assembled the few items that needed to be put together post-move. These movers were recommended to me by a friend, who raved about them. I honestly thought she was a little nuts until I hired them myself. I have moved several times, and I have never seen anything like these guys! They moved us out of a three-bedroom third floor walk-up (!!!) into a tri-level house in under 4 hours--and that included 30 minutes of drive time!! They were utterly amazing. They also figured out an ingenious way to get our box spring into our second-story bedroom because it wouldn't fit up the stairs. With one guy on roof, one on the second floor, and two on the ground, they popped out our window, maneuvered the box spring in, and replaced the window perfectly. As long as I live, I will never hire any other movers. more

I hurt my back moving my stuff myself, so I called around to get quotes from some movers. I do not know if it was just me or that day, but almost every company that I called did not answer, sounded like they were to busy to talk or were just rude over the phone. I called and a gentleman named Andrey answered in a timely manner, answered all my questions fully and was available at this overbearing time. This company sounded very professional and to the point. I went ahead with his services cause the price, the options and not to mention the person on the phone with me sounded like a great deal. Boy was I right!!! These men showed up within a couple hours and assisted me with every big and little thing that needed to be done. They finished packing my stuff, drove my rental truck to DC, unloaded and set up everything. I am so happy that it worked out for me on such a short notice. I decided to use this company based on the reviews I read on this site and was not disappointed with the service I received. The movers I chose showed up in my house on time and called 30 minutes prior to their arrival - just as I was promised by the gentleman that called to confirm the pick up time day before. I had to sign all the moving documents and at the time I was informed about a slight change in the price, caused mainly by me under estimating number of boxes and plastic tubs that I needed to move. After all this formality, the movers start wrapping my furniture with moving pads and loading it on the truck. I did ask the movers if they know when will I receive my delivery but they told me that I will receive a call from the delivery department when this information will become available. 3 days later I did receive call from the yang lady, the same lady that did speak with me before the pick up, and she told me that the shipment is in rout and I should be getting another call from the driver within next 3 to 5 days with the exact delivery time. The driver did call me and scheduled the delivery time for the next day. The delivering crew arrived within the given window, I signed on all the paper work, made a payment and watched them unloading my stuff. After all the things were in the house the guys removed the moving pads and took it back to the truck. the service that I received from Best Movers DC was good and over all I am very pleased with the outcome of this move and would use this company in the future. very much recommended. more

These guys are amazing! Not only did everything arrive 100% in-tact, but I'm pretty sure some of my furniture arrived better than when it left - if that were possible. The guys were super nice, professional, polite, fast etc. etc. Kinda like hiring your friends to help you move, except these guys really know what they are doing. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I definitely would.hire them again if I need to movee again more

I researched for movers on Google and booked with Best Movers DC -DC Best Movers 866-386-4410 because of the good reviews and their quote was comparable to other quotes I had received. Tony helped me book the move over the phone and was courteous and responsive when I told him that I wasn't sure whether I would need them or not since I was looking at using family. When I called to confirm the move, he was leaving for the day, but went ahead and put me on the board. He called me promptly the next day to get the rest of the details. The movers arrived on time the day of the move and called me when they were on their way. They were courteous, as well, during the move and paperwork and were all wearing Best Movers DC DC Best Movers -866-386-4410 t-shirts. Best Movers DC -DC Best Movers 866-386-4410 wrapped everything in blankets and cellophane, and I could see that they were even trying not to scratch the wood floors at my new place. There was one piece of furniture that didn't fit well where I had asked them to place and they moved it to another room without problem. more
