Mountainside School

Both of my children go to Mountainside. They started in the infant room and have continued (one is finishing with the pre-k class this summer and the other still has a year to go at the school.)\r \r The setting is very safe and my kids really love going there. I am very impressed with what my kids have been taught and know my oldest will be well prepared for elementary school this year. \r \r As stated in other reviews, the main staff has very little turn over and I really appreciate that consistency for my kids.\r \r Is it perfect, no. But, no place is. I do think the school has been very responsive to concerns I've brought to their attention and have addressed them to my satisfaction. \r \r I think this is a great place to send your child. more

Both of my sons went here and we loved Mountainside school so much. There was very low turnover in the staff and my boys had a very good experience here. They provide a safe environment for the children and also do wonderful learning activities with them and get them outside a lot too. more

My son went to Mountainside from the age of 1 to 5. The playgrounds are awesome and the parklike setting is beautiful. They teach many things- music, spanish, colors, reading. more

My son began going to Mountainside when he was two years old and he stayed until he graduated to go to Kindergarten.\r The teachers and staff are topnotch. The majority of the teachers have been working at mountainside of many years. The staff has very little turnover. \r They offer so many wonderful programs and a great curriculum. The Montessori format provides great structure and learning opportunities. The school setting is perfect for a child to learn and grow. The indoors has a very home-like feel and the outside play area is in beautiful woodsy setting. I would recommend Mountainside to any parent looking for a safe, educational, nurturing environment for their child. more
