Overall, I think Scott and his mechanics do a great job and are very fair, which is why I will continue to bring my vehicles to him. During my recent inspection however, Scott notified me of a check engine light code for a misfire, and a possible catalytic converter efficiency issue. I asked him to reset the code and not worry about it unless it came back because those were old codes I received prior to replacing my engine last year and I believed they did not apply. Instead he charged me $100 for diagnostic testing he performed on the codes only to find out that the codes were indeed unfounded. It was a little upsetting because I had to foot the bill for something that was completely unnecessary. I understand that because the work done was time consuming he was unable to remove the charge from my bill but, I just wish he would have listened to what I was trying to tell him before he wasted his time on this non-issue
