Best

I now have my second car from this dealership and love it! My first car I bought and my new car is a lease. Both times they have been very friendly, knowledgeable and have amazing...

Worst

I bought my new car here, and I have been taking it to this Nissan for the past four times. However, this last time, the service department was absolutely inconsiderate and rude. ...

LOVE MNKM!! 11/6/2010

I had a very positive experience at Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa. I bought a 2011 Nissan Rouge and I LOVE it. The sales staff was very nice and accommodating. My salesman Bill was very kind and really helped me through the process of buying my very first car. We negotiated a great price and they were very flexible. I get so excited every time I get in my new Rouge, I love driving it!! I would highly recommended Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa. It's also pretty cool how they take your picture after and put it online so you share with your family and friends! more

Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa 11/5/2010

I had purchased Nissan Altima 2.5 years ago from Mossy Nissan; this is my first Nissan and I very happy with that purchase. Excellent car. For my service I always visit Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa and absolutely satisfied with the service. Buy Altima, you will never regret. more

Service Department Review - Great! 11/2/2010

Took the car in for service (my husband usually does) and it was a very good experience. Called when it was time to pick up. Didn't have to worry about anything. Would highly recommend to anyone needing service. more

Treated Me Fine 5/21/2010

This review was for the sales Dept. I went there with my family. Staff wasn't pushy, they were nice. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't unclear that they wanted to sell us a car but they never made us feel uncomfortable. We said we needed a little time to think about it and they didn't even sweat it. We called them back later in the day and bought our car. Took about an hour and a half to get out of there which was half the time we spent buying our previous car. Our salesperson has called us three times after the sale to make sure we are happy and things are ok with the car. I thought that was a nice touch. I'd go back to buy another car there. Pros: Courteous Staff Cons: Building a little run down more

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! 8/19/2009

I purchased my Nissan Murano back in 2007 and it was an awesome experience. Salesperson was very tentative to my needs ... answered all of my questions and very patient. I visited the store 4 times before I purchased - and he never pushed me into buying before I was ready. \r During the final paperwork I was offered an Extended Warranty - which I was unsure about at the time ... but the lady doing my paperwork was very informative about the benefits and how it could save me a lot of money. Usually I never buy additional ""Insurance"" - however, I am so thankful I did. Don't get me wrong - Nissan is an awesome product ... but it did save me $ 3200. I had no idea how expensive it is to repair cars now-a-days. \r Sales process, Paperwork and the Service Drive were OUTSTANDING!! more

Best Experience!!! 8/19/2009

Salesperson and the manager there made it really easy for me. This was my third car there. I would recommend them to anyone interested in Nissan. Pros: They made it so easy more

BUYER BEWARE: Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa is horrible! 8/19/2009

These guys are horrible, especially David English. These guys use all the type dealer tricks. Making you wait excessively, hard balling you, switching salesmen, etc. It's always a bad sign at a dealership when a salesperson is basically waiting for you on the lot and doesn't even give you a chance to check the car out on your own. This guy is usually ""the nice guy"". He'll try to befriend you and get you to test drive the car and get you in the office. Once you're in there, they switch salesmen on you, making you wait excessively in between switches. They'll bring in the ""closer"" once they sense you really want the car. This guy, David English was rude, didn't even look me in the eye and treated me very disrespectfully. Do NOT come here or do business with people that don't treat you as customers right. It's YOUR money. They acted like I was just a number and they don't really need my business. Well, if that's the case, then so be it! They didn't try to negociate with me in good faith, nor did they take into account anything i was saying about the car itself. They don't listen or communicate and I left the dealership feeling very angry and annoyed. The next day, I found the same exact car at another dealership for the price I had wanted. Mossy said that I was crazy for asking what I asked for, but apparently not! I am very pleased with my purchase at the other dealership the next day and I am so glad I didn't buy it from here. Cons: Rude, horrible service, uninformed about their own inventory more

Terrible Sales Manager 7/31/2009

When we went in for our first oil change, we got a voucher for doing a new car survey. The Sales Manager opens the survey in front of us before giving the voucher and reads through all of the answers. He then begins to badger us for not giving them all Excellent ratings when they sure dont deserve it. He continues to badger us until we finally get the voucher and go back to the service department. DO NOT GO HERE Pros: Nice Sales Cons: Terrible Sales Manager more

Tow and Battery Rip Off 3/9/2009

Never take ur vehicle to this dealer! Some of the employees are Mot honest people. This dealership is a complete ripppppppOFF' The Service Dept...Gabriel more

Get rid of Gabriel! He is not an honest person! He rips off customers. 3/3/2009

Our 05' Titan stopped on my wife on the freeway and she tried starting it, after it went kaPlunk to have the battery to die on her. She called me I went to see what the problem was and tried starting the truck also with no success. Anyways the truck is towed to my home to a safer location until we could figure out what to do. I read the manual and immediately followed what was said to do. It appeared not to be the problem so I phoned the dealership to inform of issue with truck. I was told that if the truck was under warranty the tow would be the dealer responsibility to get it there but if not it would be mine. I was sure the truck was still under warranty but Gabriel insisted it wasn't. It was still under warranty! The batter was dead because we tried starting the truck after it stopped and it went dead on us. There was another price he came up with a whopping $130 for another battery, inwhich we didnot feel was necessary to buy because it was still a good battery that only needed charging. The problem with the truck was a faulty sensor in the gas tank inwhich was still under warranty. We my wife and I are still trying to figure this one out!!!!! Why have we paid for this when if it had not been for the faulty sensor that indicated we had gas but we did not was not the fault of the customer whose vehicle was under warranty. Why have this trip to the dealer for something that went wrong under warranty cost us $300? We are writting a letter to whomever the top guy or gal is about this rip off at the Kearny mesa dealership. It was not fair to us to get ripped off for something that should have been taken care of by the dealership. more
