As a person who absolutely hates going to the dentist (I'm talking bad dreams & wakes up in a sweat!) I had a great experience with Mortenson Family Dental! I had a great experience in the chair; Considering of course. Pleasant doctor, quick, no pain, no problems after the abses. But dealing with the woman who does the billing. She was a total snob. Seemingly angry at life and taking it out on patients. It has been a while since I've been seen, but I could not see me going back just for that reason. A shame a team does so well only to be undercut by a loose cannon. Seen it before, a family member who gets in on the gig and thinks she's too good when every one else does the real work. Great job to the dentist team, good luck, so sorry for the less than spectacular review. Honestly, you don't deserve it. more

Just had a cleaning at Mortenson and can not say enough about how nice EVERYONE is at this office. Dr. Mortenson has a way that makes going to the dentist not seem like such a big deal. My hygienist was wonderful and didn't bust my chops for not flossing (although she did remind me to start flossing again). Easiest dental cleaning ever! more

I am extremely pleased with the service that I received when I had my latest appointment. I had my teeth cleaned by Mary Ann. She was very thorough and professional, and I really appreciated that. Everyone at Mortenson Family Dental is very sweet. I never have to wait. They always take me at my appointment time. I couldn't ask for better service. more

The front desk, hygienist, and assistant were all very kind and helpful. However, Dr. Thurman was rude. I recieved a care plan by email that did not include all of the work that needed to be done. I replied to this email and asked Meghan to review my file and have not received a reply yet. more

I have to admit, this was the last place I wanted to go to yesterday. I was having an extraction and was pretty anxcious. However, immediately I was greated with warm friendly personnel at the front desk. My wait was only a few minutes when I was lead back to the room where the "trorture" was to begin. still somewhat anxcious, a bubbly young lady managed to get me to laugh and relax somewhat. It wasn't long until Dr. Thurman came in to greet me and the mild manner of man he is, I immediately felt assured that I was in good hands. The process began and I can't say that I enjoyed it, however, Dr. Thurman and his assistant were so caring and assuring. Constantly concerned for my comfort. It was a tough extraction because Dr. Thurman was really having to use his wheaty power to get that tooth out, but eventually after another shot, I was able to relax a little more and he went about doing what he does best. The tooth came out and we were all releaved. I don't really want to go through that again, but if I do, I certainly am glad to know that you are there to take care of me. Thanks for you expertise, gentle touch, bubbling smiles and caring attitude. I really do appreciate it. more

The staff was kind and caring, the service was efficient and swift. The facility is warm and inviting, kinda like walking into your own home. Most important, the assistant knew I was nervous...and she placed her hand on my shoulder to comfort me. It wasn't about getting me in and out....it was about making sure I was OK. That's rare. Highly recommend!!!! more

Dr. Jeff and the Middletown office is great. My appointment was right on time and moved quickly but comfortably. Information related to my insurance co/pay was given by the front desk team along with all other information I needed. Very well run office. more
