I learned from the manager of the store that the breeders they use are 'USDA approved'. Do your research on what this means - from what I read on the internet, this applies only to 'volume breeders' and the requirements are minimal. Google 'dog breeders USDA approved' to assist you in interpreting what this might mean. There were two puppies there that I think were not 100% healthy ( I did not look at all of the pens, just two of the pens with 6+ puppies in each). Am I a vet tech? Not yet, but for now, just a dog owner of 30 years that's got a pretty good eye for an unhealthy dog. As for customer service, I stood in the store for several minutes and I had to ask if I could speak with someone (there was only 1 other family in the store and they were enjoying the puppies and not with an employee). I did not find the response especially friendly, not unfriendly but not friendly. .....Think twice about supporting volume breeding and instead adopt or seek out local breeders.
